Good location and the price is right

Good location with free parking. The Parque das Aguas, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Good breakfast with fruits and typical cheese bread. The rooms are clean and everything works fine. You can use the swimming pools of the Metropole Hotel . The hotel is an old building, but not a big deal though. My concern is the noise due to my room was in front of the street. Summarising, the hotel has a good cost/benefit.

The staff was super friendly and polite. The only problem we ran across was feces in our closet. Made me question the cleanliness of the room. Called Expedia, but they could not communicate with the property due to language. It was a very disappointing transaction because I had trip insurance and thought Expedia had my back.
