Start of off-season

Just wish it had listed the hot tub was put out of commission for the season. Everything else was great.

Disappointing..set your expectations low

This was a very disappointing stay. I'll start with what went well as its short. The location is good as its right across the street from the main shopping and food. Also the a/c works great and the bed is comfortable but firm. Now to the bad....main reason we chose this property was for the hot tub. Based on the pictures I knew it was old but I expected it to work. First night I turned it up to 40c and waited about an hour. It never got above 34.5c. Water was not even warm. I left it at 40c overnight and still it never got above 34.5c. I messaged our host, Johnny. He said that 34.5c is normal operating temp and there is nothing wrong. Clearly that is wrong. So the 'hot' tub was a huge disappointment. Then just overall the place is not well maintained. For example the towel holder kept falling off, the bathroom door would not slide without significant effort, the plants on the patio were dead, broken pots not cleaned up, old furniture and random stuff stacked on the side of the place, etc. Also the neighborhood leaves a little to be desired. Right out the front of the place was a broken down scooter that looks like it has been there for years. The view is partially of a parking lot with again some broken down vehicles. Although they provide a kettle and 2 cups that's all you get for utensils or glasses. Adding some utensils/glasses/wine glasses/plates would go a long way. Also the description said there was an iron and ironing board but there was not.

Misleading

The pictures showing the view from the suite are deceptive. It appears as if the sea is right below the balcony however, there’s a vast expanse of brown desert landscape. There is no parking for this accommodation. We were advised of a parking area about a half mile away, but it was full three of our four nights here, making the walk back and forth even longer. It was difficult to locate this accommodation in the first place as there is no sign indicating Muses Cycladic Suites and no street address was given, just vague turn-at-the-little-alley type instructions. Housekeeping was very good and the suite was clean. No light in the shower/toilet area. Comfortable bed. Bath amenities so-so. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend that others do.

Good spot in Oia; not Caldera view but a short walk to the main avenue with Caldera view. Good value for the price given in Oia.

Perfect little spot in Oia!

The host was amazing and this spot is perfect walking distance from multiple hot spots in Oia! We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Location

Johnny took care of me from arrival to departure I was staying only one night but wished it was longer. Unique cave villa experience, centrally located, convenient- loved the hot tub and the view. Definitely recommend

Great location!

This place was perfect. There was a bakery with juices, water, etc steps away from the door. And access to the main walkway on the bluff was steps away, as well. The property manager was very helpful with information on local establishments and getting us a taxi back to the airport. We stayed in late November, so there were no crowds, and the rates were very reasonable. If we were to go back to Santorini, we would stay here again.

Perfect Oasis

This property is a little oasis just steps away from the main view of Oia, with its own amazing view of the ocean. Off the main walkway with the tourist traffic, we felt like we had a haven from the business of Oia, with our private ocean view hot tub. The property was beautifully finished with modern tile and fixtures, and all of the charm of a traditional cave house. Housekeeping was excellent and the property was spotlessly maintained. Lia, the property manager, was approachable and knowledgeable, and helped make our stay perfect. A bakery across the street made breakfast in bed looking at the ocean a daily ritual. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Santorini Joy

We truly enjoyed our stay and the overall experience. The hosts, Eva and Oana, were both exceptionally kind and always extremely responsive with any and all questions. The location was ideal for us as the hosts helped us to arrange several aspects of our stay ranging from transportation, restaurant suggestions and other random requests. Thank you both so much!!!
