Had the best time here. Hotels fantastically located, the views are absolutely beautiful. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. Friendly, super welcoming and always helpful. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff at breakfast were great too. Overall it was a hard to beat location, we are so glad we picked this and hadn’t realised how fortunate we would be with the location. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

The staff at this hotel/resort were exceptional and did everything to make your stay outstanding. The property is in the perfect location with the perfect view. If I had one criticism it would be that the bed is very hard, but everyone has their own preference. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to avoid the crowds of Fira and Oia.

Excellent location and gorgeous views. This area is ideal if you want somewhere with the same feel as Oia but a little quieter with some good restaurants and bars within walking distance. You can also walk into Fira in 20 minutes. Pool is divine and staff are lovely. Rooms are spacious, wouldn’t say you need the outdoor jetted tub. We wouldn’t opt for this if we return.

Our stay at Akra Suites in Santorini was truly amazing and such a memorable experience. The service from the staff was exceptional from start to finish, and they made us feel welcomed throughout our entire stay. The breakfast each morning was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from and a beautiful setting to enjoy it in. One of the highlights of the property was the stunning outdoor pool overlooking the caldera views. It was such a relaxing place to unwind and take in the beauty of Santorini. We also had a wonderful surprise waiting for us in our room — the bed was beautifully decorated with flowers for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful and special touch that we truly appreciated. The location in Imerovigli was perfect for us. It had a much more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere compared to the crowds in Oia and Fira, while still offering breathtaking views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore. Akra Suites exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would absolutely stay here again when visiting Santorini!

Fantastic hotel with the best location

Akra Suites and Spa was absolutely amazing, we stayed for a week and we loved every minute. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect. Breakfast was very nice with a huge variety of fresh and tasty dishes. The all day menu was also very nice. The staff makes the hotel extra special

Our experience at Akra Suites was terrible. We booked a 3-night stay for our anniversary, expecting a relaxing and peaceful vacation, but it became stressful and frustrating from the moment we arrived. Within the first 10 minutes of checking into our room, we found bugs everywhere. There were bugs and flies on the bed, under the pillows, throughout the room, and around the private pool area. We literally spent our first 10 minutes cleaning instead of settling in and enjoying our vacation. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. We specifically booked a room with a private pool, but the pool was also filled with bugs, making it unpleasant and unusable. Because of the conditions, we immediately asked to check out and requested a refund. The staff member contacted the owner, but the owner refused to issue a refund despite the circumstances. I would challenge the owner to spend a night in that room with their own family and see if they would find it acceptable. No guest should have to deal with these conditions, especially when paying premium prices for a vacation stay. Instead of celebrating our anniversary and enjoying some peace of mind, we spent our time dealing with an issue that should never have existed in the first place. The property needs a deep cleaning and much better maintenance. We will never stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.
