This was a beautiful, well-kept, and clean suite with a gorgeous view of Lake Arenal. It is comfortable and relaxing, as well. The photos don't do it justice--it's even nicer in person.
We came here after spending time in Manuel Antonio, and this area is much more peaceful (albeit very windy!). The landscape is more lush. The ride to the condo is windy with many hills, but the road conditions are very good (unlike other areas of Costa Rica).
We drove to the bridges at Mistico, and then to La Fortuna. The drive is about an hour because of windy roads, but the scenery is breathtaking. I would highly recommend walking the bridges and hiking at Mistico, and our kids (ages 18, 22, 25) said their horseback riding excursion there was the highlight of their trip. They also enjoyed zip-lining and waterfall rappelling. The town of La Fortuna is very welcoming, with many shops and restaurants in the town square.
Overall, a fantastic experience, and I wish we were able to stay longer!
