It's a fraud that they offer the rooms on the first floor as "ocean view", the balcony is in front of the pool so the view is really just people sunbathing on sun loungers right outside your window. You have to keep the curtains closed at all times if you don't want to feel like you're in a shop ...

Hotel Santa Cruz Huatulco
This was what we needed. A clean bed at night after a day of exploring all the great local beaches and restaurants. The staff was accommodating and the hotel cats made the place feel homey.
