This is a great hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but otherwise no complaints. Pool area is quiet and has a great view. It’s right in downtown with so many shops and restaurants in walking distance. I will stay here every time I come to SB.

First, shoutout to Edwin for being an amazing when I spoke to him at the front desk. I love the Kimpton(s), but I did think the balcony room looked a lot smaller in person and the room didn’t feel as luxurious. I loved the (coffee) amenities, the valet staff and location.

Buyer Beware

Tried to check in "early" at 2:40 but had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes for the room to be cleaned. Did not realize that the check in time is so late. Got to our room with "outdoor living space". Hahaha. Three feet of balcony with two chairs jammed in that subtracted three feet from the "indoor living space". Oh, and $50 a night to park. Should have read the fine print.
"outdoor living space" includes beautiful view of the gas station across the street!

I remember this place when it was an awesome hotel. It was sad this time around. The service was atrocious, and the furniture was beat up. The room was falsely represented as a corner unit in the picture but was not what I got. Charging a thousand dollars for this room was nothing less than highway robbery.

Not impressed

Booked the Canary presidential suite the room is wonderful however the couch need to be replaced, as well as the couches in the Juliet suite/Juliet balcony they are stained old and worn out. I would not stay there again. I must say that there is personnel shortages however, the staff that i dealt with were pleasant considering they were busy. Compliments to the valet guys for being so courteous even though they were super swamped.
