"Lovely buffet breakfast with healthy, fresh foods. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely, clean room with big bed and plenty of storage space. Ideal location within easy walking distance of good restaurants, shops, castle, etc. Pool looked lovely but didn't get chance to try it out as we were on a rock climbing holiday. Within easy driving distance of Rocha da Pena where we were climbing. Secure, underground carpark. Excellent hotel."

"Lovely breakfast and super clean room BUT unable to use the pool, full of large ants, not removed for the 2 days we were there and we had to remove numerous frogs both mornings as they were unable to get out of the pool, so sad. Some had died and were at the bottom of the pool. We did inform the 2 ladies running the guesthouse but nothing done "
