「The hotel was absolutely wonderful. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re an American who, like me, knew little about Spello, Italy before booking. Trust me—you won’t regret staying here. While we didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant, it offers incredible views. The location is also very convenient—perched at the top of the hill, it rewards you with stunning scenery (and a bit of a workout getting there).

It’s not fancy by any means but safe, quiet, clean and comfortable and the location and experience of staying in a former monastery can’t be beat. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was very good and included. There is limited parking so make sure to reserve that (we traveled with my 80 year old mother so it was essential for us given the hills in Assisi). 」
