Very affordable, clean, cozy, friendly staff. The staff was so helpful that when we forgot an item in the nearby castle, they helped reach out to the castle and coordinated the pickup for us.

The owners are very invested in their property and it shows in terms of cleanliness, friendliness, and overall experience. Every staff person is helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location couldn’t be better! Would highly recommend and will stay again when in that area.

Comfortable 2 night stay.

Reasonably priced budget option single room, perfectly comfortable for 2 nights. Wonderful river views for extra charge but definitely a must. Lovely breakfast and good wifi. Did not need parking. Right next to train station.

Lovely little hotel on the Rhine

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We had a room with balcony with a gorgeous view of the Rhine. The room was a nice size and very clean. The hotel itself is older and a little out of date, but it was maintained well. It’s a short walk to the train station and the boat dock. It was a perfect home base to explore the rest of the middle Rhine.

Beautiful River view room with balcony, very clean, wonderful view of the Rhine, right next to dock for cruises and near train. The hotel staff was most friendly and helpful especially the Indian gentleman at the desk and the very friendly man serving breakfast.

Clean room, great breakfast and very comfortable bed. Fantastic view from balcony. Parking close by and convenient. Go to the tourist information booth in town for the parking pass. Only 5 euros a day.

Hotel Rheinfels was wonderful. The owner checked us in and was very friendly and welcoming. Our room overlooked the Rhine River - beautiful. Immediately upon arrival to the room my husband used the bathroom and commented on the cleanliness - He never does that!! But the bathroom truly sparkled. The cleanest hotel room/bathroom we had during our tour of Europe.

Needs some updates. Carpet in the hallway and bedroom looked very old. Dark hallway. until you walk into it. We could hear people walking above our room. Linens & bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good.

Nicht wie in der Beschreibung..

Wir wurden zwar sehr freundlich empfangen, jedoch wurde nicht nach einem Ausweis oder einer Ei tragung gefragt. Das Zimmer wird als" Suite" angeboten. Aber mehr als ein großer Raum ist es nicht. In der Beschreibung steht, das jedes Zimmer über eine Dusche verfügt. Wir fanden jedoch eine kleine Badewanne mit Duschvorhang vor. Die Toilette war so nah an der Wand, das man nicht gerade sitzen konnte. Der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken tropfte genauso wie der an der Badewanne. Der Balkon war klein, aber für 2 Personen ausreichend. An der Sauberkeit war nichts auszusetzen. Es gab ein ausreichendes Frühstück, welches jedoch extra berechnet wurde. Das wurde uns auch nicht vmbei Ankunft mitgeteilt. Ich hätte das alles gerne angemerkt, jedoch hat mich mein Mann davon abgehalten. St.Goar ist einen Kurzurlaub wert, jedoch sollte man sich etwas anderes ( besseres) in der Nähe suchen.
