The room was in a perfect location in Old Town with plenty of pintxos options right out the door. Whole building was clean and noticed cleaning personnel there daily to turnover rooms and clean bathrooms. Very nice stay!

A nightmare during the night!!

At first, I was happy with service as the pension is central in the old town and next to the port and beach. I was also allowed to enter the room early by 12 pm as I arrived directly from the airport. However, it was difficult to get confirmation of details for me to be able to get into the property, and the woman cleaning was the only one around to talk to and unable to help out. It is also a pain to have to use keys to open and close the bathroom and bedroom all the time. However, at the same time, it does provide a sense of privacy and safety. I had a long day out and was looking forwards to my night sleep. However, I was shocked to wake up in the middle of the night by 4.30 am with both the TV and air conditioning coming on at the same time!!!. Both remote controls were on the bedside table so I was left feeling as if someone had direct access to them or they were set up on alarm from previous tenants!?. I couldn’t sleep for a couple of hours after that experience and nobody to talk to about it at that time of the night!!. I managed to sleep until 10.30am and woke up feeling tired and as if I had waisted my morning. I would not stay again but I realised afterwards that I had booked a similar accommodation in Vitoria and was concerned about it.

I was very disappointed with my whole experience. I didn’t expect to share bathroom facilities. The un-personed reception was a phone disaster. Necessary access details took three phone calls. The company managing the accommodation needs to provide a script that their personal need to follow in all languages to help arrivers get into the building, the accommodation, the room and access WiFi without any difficulty. An easy solution to help the travellers!

Fabulous location but we had a problem checking in as it’s a remote check in, we hadn’t received details and no one answered the phone. Also we were not aware that the bathroom was down the corridor and be careful as some rooms have a shared bathroom.

No hot water + white neon lighting everywhere

Feels more like a hospital room than a center of town hotel. The check in process is a bit annoying (forced to call them as they don’t even have an email to send all the info they request) Only one of us had hot water in the shower in the morning. Paying 100€ for that was not ok

Diese Unterkunft erinnert mehr an ein Hostel als eine Pension. Die Zimmer sind sehr sehr schlicht. Das geteilte Badezimmer bindet sich am anderen Ende des Ganges, der Weg zum Klo oder Spülbecken ist somit gefühlt weit und vor allem mühsam. In Summe vollkommen überbezahlt, es sind düstere, sehr hellhörige, kleine und uncharmante Räume. Es gibt überhaupt keinen Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Dann lieber gleich in einem Hostel übernachten, das ist wesentlich billiger und vermutlich sogar lustiger.

コスパ良い宿を探して選びました。旅慣れた方の短期間の利用なら許容できると思います。 まずこちらはペンションなのでゲストハウスみたいな、ホテルとはまた違う種類です。バス・トイレが別の場所で共用ということを、予約時は知らずに予約してしまったので注意です。結果綺麗で鍵付きなのでよかったのですが。部屋から出て、鍵を閉めて廊下を歩き、バスルームの鍵を開ける感じです。(鍵の開け方が難しい…)スタッフがいないのと、バスルームは外なので、女性1人だと心細いかも。部屋は音漏れしまくります。部屋にはテレビとベッド、タオルがあります。バルのある中心地なので外も騒がしいですが、あの街の雰囲気を身近に感じれて私は好きでした！ チェックインはオンライン、フロントなどもありません。メールで鍵の番号などを聞き、宿に入ります。ここは少し不安でしたが、入って階段を登り、右に扉がありました。貸主のかたはメールで丁寧にやりとりをしてくれます。 旅慣れた、コスト重視で旅がしたい方にはおすすめです！ 窓からの景色も素敵でした。ありがとうございました。
