The hotel is beautiful. The views from the terraces, lounges, rooms etc all great. Staff was mostly helpful except when we needed 2 coffee packets for the room. They said we were allowed only one. Weird. Otherwise quite nice. I will come back. Disappointed that there was no spa services. But found an amazing sea water circuit & spa on the beach at la Perla. BONUS 1914 era kids amusement park was adorable. Riding the water boat around the mountain was fun. Skee ball etc. on the hotel side you wouldn’t know the park was just below and behind the hotel. Funicular up & down the mountain also very nice.

The view of the Donastia bay from the bar is just magnificent, day and night! The staff are all wonderfully welcoming and friendly. The parking for disabled guests is excellent right next to the hotel entry. The food in the restaurant was a little expensive for what was served, Be prepared to show the parking attendant at the amusement park your hotel booking!! All in all a good stay!

Very rude check in staff. Gave us the worst room in the hotel which they were obliged by law to have. Reason that we were using “coupons” i.e. booked the room using Hotels.com. Being an Expedia premium member I have never heard something like that and if such behavior will be met in the future it will be the death of Expedia alike booking services. Otherwise than that the Hotel and pool area is very good.

Incredible views from this hotel atop Monte Igueldo. Breakfast and bar were very good. If you're planning to use the funicular to get to/from town, know that its last run is at 8:30pm.

Amazing view – totally worth it! The room was a bit dusty on arrival, but otherwise clean and comfortable. Room facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Breakfast was nice, though the hot food and dinner options felt a bit limited, especially for international guests. Overall, a great stay with stunning scenery!
