Great new hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be back

Posada El Quijote is outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the view of San Jose from the inn is outstanding. Bjorn and Alcides helped us book taxi rides, rent a car, find restaurants and attractions, and even upgraded our room and comped our airport transportation after a mixup with our arrival date. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the Costa Rican breakfasts will help jump start your day of exploring this beautiful country. If you're looking for an...

The hotel is new and modern. The room is comfortable, the breakfast is pretty fantastic and the staff friendly and attentive. It is located near restaurants and a shopping center. I would stay again

The hotel is in one of the best location in San Jose if not the best. The staff and facilities are excellent. Outstanding breakfast which is already included on the rate.

Picked up @ the Airport by Anthony - a dignified - well dressed well spoken - chauffer looking gent - with excellent English - on time 20 minutes to what is actually called the Villas del Rio Suites - promptly checked in to the 800 s/f ( I measured) living room/well equipped kitchen - another large room set up for reading with convertible couch - large bed room - queen size bed - large flat screen TV (parquet floor) with ensuite bath - another 3 fixture bath room w/shower - Huge built-in...

This Sheraton Is always fantastic. Friendly staff and nice rooms.

The location is great. The food is good. The staff is extremely helpful. Austin Zapata at the front desk was particularly helpful.

Love it! Been completely remodeled, it's perfect!

my favorite escazu hotel. my home away from home. They call me Leo and treat me like a king. Perfect location, wonderful staff, and I travel 280 days a year. this is truly like coming home. Please forward this to the staff if you can. They go the extra mile.

Brilliant, warm, multi-lingual, welcoming staff. Beautiful amenities, awesome dining choices and delicious bar creations.

What a gem for a small boutique hotel....clean room, fabulous staff, plentiful choice of breakfast, easy to book attractions, on main bus line (easy). Walking distance to restaurants in Escazu. Hotel manager Fernando will make you feel right at home and help with anything from ordering take out or sohwing you where best to get a spectacular view of Sano Jose and the valley. I was in town for a DentaVac dental vacation (excellent quality and affordable) and the hotel couldn't have been more...

We have always enjoyed staying at this property because it is clean, quiet and has the best breakfast in town. We fly in from Oklahoma and often arrive in San Jose late enough we need to spend the night before going to our home on the South Pacific coast. This is a place you can count on being a good quality hotel.

Great customer service, even booked a shuttle for the next day (same price as if I did it myself). Airport pickup, reception, check-in, breakfast, local directions, and the room were all excellent. They even drove us to a nearby restaurant. The only drawback was that Room #1 was in the hallway, so be aware that noises in the hallway and bedroom transmit easily.

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Canal Grande Lodge! Raffael and his staff were excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The small hotel was quiet and beautifully situated. You could walk to restaurants and a few small local stores. We enjoyed Santa Margaritas down the street on 2 nights of our stay. If you know this is a small, local property that’s comfortably lived in and you don’t expect a palace for your shoestring budget, you’ll be very happily surprised by this...

I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.

This is a brand new property, recently built. This hotel has a great location, steps from the Costa Rica Convention Center, there are shopping malls, clinics, restaurants, at walkable distance. There is shuttle service to the SJO airport, Breakfast was great too including costarican typical food. Hope to be staying here again soon!

From the moment we stepped from our transfer, we were treated royally - the staff is trained well, very friendly, and efficient! The courtyard, used for meals, was lovely - heaters provided for cooler weather. The menus for both breakfast and dinner offered a variety of local as well as international options. Our standard room was small, but very comfortable. The best feature, for those who love to walk, is the location - a twenty minute stroll from central downtown, near wonderful museums...

We were floored when we first saw the view and the room! It is so special and our first night was quiet and romantic. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff was exceptional! We only had a couple of complaints and when we had the complaints, the staff was eager to help in any way possible. We had an issue with our DVD player-which in our mind wasn't a huge deal because it's so fantastic there you don't really need movies, but we wanted to relax our last night and we couldn't get the DVD player to...
