A beautiful and peaceful place

This place is very peaceful and beautiful. I would stay here again, after they iron out some kinks. It seems like they are a bit new to hosting.

Celeste, Veronica and Lee are amazing. They made sure to check on is throughout our entire stay to make sure they could do everything in their power to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. They had the best personalities. The property was absolutely perfect. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Gorgeous beachfront. The water is very shallow and clear. Perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. Secret beach is just a 4 minute boat ride from the property which is included with your stay or you have the option to walk through the ocean to get there. Secret Beach is a very happening spot with lots of bar and restaurant options. 10/10 recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the place. It is south of Secret Beach which is very busy. There are several places to eat and drink and you can walk to them all from this unit. If you come by golf cart you have to park at a neighboring restaurant and you can be picked up with a boat and taken to the property. Any time we wanted to go come or go someone was there to take us. Breakfast was included and if you wanted dinner there, they had a couple different dishes they would make for you to purchase. You could have your food brought to your room or eat in a covered outdoor space. The beach was nice and the water was warm and beautiful. You could walk out 100 yards and still be waist deep. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful and informative. We had our own screened in sunrise view and a covered deck to look out over the ocean on the front side of our unit. We would watch the sunset from the dock. Once and a while you would see people walk past to go to a secluded beach south of the property but no crazy crowds here!

First, *the beach* is phenomenal. Waking up to all of that beach and that super-clear water is a treat! They just recently forged a proper "road" through the mangroves so you can drive your cart right to your door - helpful. The owner noted wanting to do a refresh of the units sometime soon, and that will help. Our space was comfortable enough and spacious, but it also showed wear & tear and needs some TLC. No issues with electricity and the wifi seemed solid. The condenser for our a/c unit was sometimes possessed, as it made odd noises sometimes and was fairly quiet others. That needs some attention. Also, there is an onsite desalination system located under the unit we were in (the little bungalow on the side). The motor for that system is loud and annoying, so when it is running (daytime, midday usually) it can be unpleasant. It can be turned off if you ask. Breakfasts were varied and yummy, and Leroy (the onsite do-it-all staff) was quick to address any issues or provide guidance about local stuff. In terms of overall location, again, the beach and water is stellar, especially if sargassum is affecting the ocean-side of the island. Given Secret Beach's popularity, the noise from the bars & restaurants just to the north of Villas Secreta (the closest is about 800 feet away) can be a constant presence when you are enjoying the beach. We sometimes wandered down the coast to the south to distance ourselves. Not a deal breaker, just something to know about.
