"The receptionist spoke no English. The room had no safe. A cockroach was in the room. There was no “Tranquility” at Freedom Beach. Not anything near what was expected. The only quiet time is after 20:00 hours when the crowds which start arriving at 9:00, have gone home. Disappointed. The bathroom was so poor, I couldn’t take a shower or sit on the toilet. "

"For some unknown reason this place was already rated "excellent" whereas there was no previous reviews. So I felt a little bit manipulated as this place without being bad was way overrated. Although the place is generally clean, it nis not maintained properly. Some stuffs need some fixing. The room I stayed in for almost 10 days had suffered water leakage in the wall which resulted in traces on the wall which has not been redone or even painted. The mattress is definitely not comfortable &...

"Positives: clean, calm, relaxing, great service (Carlos and Duvin were very helpful during the stay) peaceful. Negatives: far / complicated to get there, to much light at night, ventilation consider a fan for bed. Beach needs more sand it was mostly coral"

"recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Cartagena and had a fantastic experience overall. The pool area was absolutely amazing—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. It really became one of the highlights of my trip! The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. While the beach directly at the hotel wasn't the best, it's worth noting that there are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby that are easy to get to and definitely worth the visit. Overall, I highly recommend the Hilton Cartagena for its excellent hospitality, incredible pool, and great location. Looking forward to coming back!"

"I had a nice room with beach view. My room had a balcony. The view was magnificent. I always stay here when I’m in Cartagena so obviously I live this place. I have friends at the beach that take care of me so I always feel safe and welcome. Also, unfortunately I was not feeling well and they prepared special meals for me. They pampered me and took care of me. Thank you Dann Cartagena. Love you always."
