We waren met z’n vieren en het huis was ruim genoeg. Leuk zwembad erbij wat voldoende was. Met iedere dag 37c is het wel een uitdaging. Gelukkig prima werkende airconditioning in huis. Als je van rust houdt is dit de ideale plek.

La villa est bien située pour visiter la Toscane, et la climatisation était efficace, ce qui a été appréciable en pleine canicule. En revanche, plusieurs points négatifs sont à signaler : -certaines parties de la maison n'étaient pas très propres, notamment la salle de bain -la pergola, abîmée par de récentes intempéries, était inutilisable. - Le plus gros problème concerne la piscine: Dès notre arrivée le lundi, elle était verte et trouble, sans que l'hôte, pourtant au courant, ne nous en informe. Le « pisciniste » n'est re intervenu que le mercredi, et malgré plusieurs passages, la piscine est restée impraticable tout le séjour (sauf 1 fois bien que toujours trouble)Pour un séjour payé assez cher en pleine canicule, cela a clairement gâché notre semaine. L'hôte n'a non seulement pas pris la peine de nous informer des problèmes avant notre arrivée mais n’a par ailleurs pas voulu comprendre notre demande de dédommagement.

The house is located around 1,5 kilometers off the city centre of San Miniato. It has an astonishing view of the Tuscany hills and the swimming pool is located in such a way that there is the feel of an infinity pool looking over olive oil trees and vineyards. The house is part of a small 'community' (around 5 houses) and the swimming pool is located just across a small street (2 meters) that runs to one of the other houses. Most neighbors are very friendly from the start and others need some more time (most probably also a language barrier). The house itself is good, with kitchen and living room downstairs, and three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. It is somewhat older and needs some maintenance, but overall ok. We were there with four persons and that is also the maximum (in our opinion). When we arrived there were issues in the house and with the swimming pool, where the host did her utmost best to get them resolved asap, but one also knows it is a holiday in Italy, so things take their time. Checking in was easy and well prepared.
