Hotel charmoso e confortável. A vista do rio e da montanha é linda. A equipe muito simpática e a comida muito boa, tanto no café da manhã quanto no jantar.

The check out was an issue. There was no one to complete so we could not go out the gate. We worked it out but could have been better. Dinner was excellent. Staff was friendly. Would stay there again.

This beautiful hotel sits in a valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains and right across from a beautiful river at the foot of high mountain cliffs. The setting alone is worth the price but the hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable, the staff very attentive and the food very good. The hotel also has the most beautiful trails along the river with flowers and trees and bushes. Absolutely idyllic. To top it all off, there was a family of geese of a rare species that camped in front of the hotel and a King fisher that visited frequently. Highly recommend!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The peaceful river view and the warm hospitality from the host made us feel right at home. The staff was exceptional, and the stunning landscape added to the overall charm. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

A slice of heaven

Beautiful setting with friendly and gracious service. Located on a pristine lake with lawn chairs available for relaxation. Very comfortable and classic and calming decor. Highly recommended property.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting by the river. Great views in both directions. Giselle, the owner, was very friendly & helpful. My partner & I speak very little Spanish, but Giselle’s team did all they could to assist us in English. Super service l! Would we go there again? In a trice!!!

Se negaron a chequearon el pago en la pagina. Nos cobraron 3 mil pesos mas por la habitación del precio publicado en la reserva sin una factura, tampoco la entregaron después. No nos dejaban ir hasta que le dimos el código de seguridad de la tarjeta además pretendían que le firmáramos una autorización para debitar lo que quisieran. Nos demoraron una hora o más que nos retraso el viaje. La atención de recepción pésima. No hay señal celular en la zona.

Secluded

A beautiful secluded property! Enjoy a swim in the river. The food and service was excellent! Be aware if you have cat allergies, there are two very fun and friendly cats and our allergies were heighten after two days.

MAJESTIC

This was one of the best finds in the Mountain Region of Argentina - away from any towns and down a dusty track was this 7 room Lodge that was the height of luxury. The perfect setting on a river, deers walking about, trout jumping in the water. The rooms were palatial and the staff perfect - can not wait to go back.

Strange start but delightful stay

We arrived at Rio Hermoso and were shown directly to our room (with no check in or introduction to the resort), which was rather strange (unhelped by our very limited Spanish, which made it difficult to communicate with the lady who showed us to our room). We were asked if we wanted to eat (it was around 3pm when we checked in) and when we said yes, the lady disappeared and we wandered around the otherwise empty lounge and dining room for a while not really sure of what was going on. At one point, a large group (approx 6-8 adults and what felt like 8-10 children under 5 years old turned up and played on the front lawn in the snow (which was adjacent to our bedroom) and generally idled about). They did not appear to be staying guests, so we were confused as to their presence and rather irritated with the racket the children were making - it certainly ruined the otherwise peaceful and relaxing ambiance of the resort. Despite the strange start, we are happy to report that we ended up with a really terrific meal, lovely wine and super friendly staff who did all they could to help. Breakfasts were great every day and we were given a corner room, which was spacious and comfortable.
