「We recently stayed 4 nights at Casa del Bosque. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of five. The house is located in a quiet gated community with private back yard patio and 2 minute walk to the pool. Also walking distance to Restaurante Delicias Tablada which has excellent food at a great price. (Say hi to Sammy, one of the friendliest guys you will meet.). I would recommend this house and stay there again! We loved the place! 」

「If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town.

「When they say that 4x4 with high clearance is required, it is no joke. At least if you turn from Rt 142 driving from Monteverde. 6km of off roading at crawl speed. Fun if you are prepared. The road from the opposite direction is better paved, but you would still feel more comfortable in a SUV. Google does not estimate driving time on bad roads correctly.
