What a charming gem of a hotel. The staff was gracious and very accommodating. The room was precious. The breakfast was a perfect start for the day. The bar was fun and adorable. I will say the bar closed at 9. We felt that was a touch too early and the bartenders make you feel a little put out if you order at 8:50/8:55. They had the bar cleaned up too early. In fact start clean up at 9:00. Not before. It was always busy and other patrons we met felt the same. But still a five star ⭐️ experience.

The hotel was more than charming. It was a fantastic experience for our group of 6. Fireplaces and small seating areas were the highlight each evening as we were served complimentary gourmet s'mores. Breakfast was a custom plated welcome each morning with specialty coffees included. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable and each had its own fireplace. The "game room"/library/candy bar was a great place for us to continue socializing once the courtyard got more quiet. Will definitely return.

We liked the ambience and the wait staff. Breakfast was good and the nightly smores were fun. The room was very nice as well .The one downside was the courtyard was loud well past 10:00 pm and the staff did not enforce the 10:00 pm quiet time.

Hotel Cheval is a wonderful hotel that is beautiful, intimate and relaxing. Each room has access to the courtyard that has two large fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, a classic library space with a candy bar. The free breakfast is fabulous. The hotel is right in town so close to the center square and all the restaurants. The Pony Bar, which is part of the hotel has a great atmosphere and music at night. The hotel is pricey but but well worth it.

Great location. Pleasant staff. Didn’t have a fridge so they very kindly held our leftovers from the many delicious restaurants nearby. Magical during the holiday. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in for a romantic weekend away.
