「This is a great spot to stay at. I arrived a little late and the front office was closed. Despite them saying that they’re available to respond to calls, even at night, they never answered my calls or voicemails to check in. Luckily, I downloaded my messages which gave me the code to my room, which is available from the outside. I also left early the next morning and people weren’t there, and I forgot to call later to check out. Clearly, nothing happened, and I was charged normally for the night...

「Staff were very friendly, but ice machine barely produced a cup of ice, water for tea in the lobby was cold (pot not even turned on), tv could not connect with any shows, bathroom really tiny, and linens a little threadbare. However, in spite of beds being on the hard side, i got a really good night's sleep!」

「We chose this property for its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park, relying on the Expedia listing that promised A/C and a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the house was very hot upon arrival, and the washer was broken. We had two main issues: Broken Washer: The washer was the primary reason we rented a house instead of a hotel. The owner later revealed a previous guest broke it, and they were unable to fix it. However, they failed to warn us in advance so we could make other laundry...

「I’ve now stayed at this house at least 5 different times and through every season of the year. The house is very spacious and cozy. The back porch is a great spot to have meals or to just sit. It’s incredibly close to hiking trails, horse riding, restaurants, and the ski resort. And it’s a quick drive over to La Veta. The house is always incredibly clean, has a great selection of board games, book, cds, vhs, and dvds. It has plenty of bedrooms, a very comfy living room, and plenty of everything...
