"We travelled as a family of 5 ( 4 adults 1 child) and had the best of times in Casa Blanca. The enclosed community was peaceful and gardens manicured. We could see the volcano from the house and do a lot of fishing, hiking and sightseeing. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the house had everything we needed and more. "Our family of 5, adult children, stayed for 6 nights. The pictures do not do the property justice. Absolutely stunning views of lake, mountain and volcano. One of the best supplied VRBOs I have ever stayed at. The pool was clean with a nice view. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided lots of recommendations for food and entertainment. Only down side was the rocky curvy road to get to property. Would highly recommend! "

"NOT as clean as it should have been. I think the owner and I have different standards of what clean is. Beautiful location but it didn’t have as much privacy for being so far away from everything. We were given the wrong check in instructions and were led to the wrong cabin currently being occupied. Awkward. The views were absolutely beautiful. "We loved our stay at El Cielo. I cant say enough about the view. It was so special and the view if the lake and Volcano was magical. The hummingbirds were all over the garden area. The monkeys close by in the trees in the early morning. There were horses grazing right in front of the property and it made for a picture perfect scene . Great location.

"This is a great place to stay if you want to experience the rainforest in comfort. Gorgeous surroundings and views of the Arenal Volcano. Trails on the grounds that are easy walking. Good food. All staff are very helpful and friendly. Pools are small, but the resort is small so not busy with a lot of people. Quaint, quiet, and full of nature. Close to excursions. The hotel can book many of them for you. Golf cart pick up to take you around the property. Umbrellas in all rooms and areas. You do need bug spray when you are out walking around. The rooms are nice, comfortable, AC, open balcony with rocking chairs to enjoy the views. Would definitely stay here again. We had two families with kids ranging from age 7-18. Great trip."

"Every little detail was absolutely perfect ❤️ the staff was warm, welcoming and kind. The hotel was breathtakingly beautiful. Everything was very clean. The room was much more than I expected. The photos don’t even do it justice. The food was so good, we were disappointed that we couldn’t try everything on the menu. We only stayed 3 nights and that just wasn’t enough to take it all of the perfection that is Hotel Belmar. "

Sangregado Casita

"Most of the Sangregado Casitas face the Arenal Volcano. The rooms and bathrooms have a beautiful view into the jungle/Arenal. The rooms are small but very clean. Note: there is no closet or clothing rack so you have to live out of your suitcase. The free breakfast is not on-site, but a short drive away. There is coffee service in the room. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful."
