San Jose McEnery Convention Center Tours

My recent stay at La Quinta was satisfactory overall, though the property would benefit from some much-needed attention. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the basics were covered clean rooms and functional amenities. However, the age of the facility is noticeable, and I'd recommend some renovations to bring the property up to current standards. The room furniture and fixtures show their wear, and updating the décor and appliances would make a real difference. A few aesthetic improvements fresh paint, updated bedding, and modernized bathrooms would elevate the guest experience significantly. The common areas could also use some refreshing to feel more inviting. For the price point, La Quinta offers decent value, but with some targeted renovations, this property could easily compete with newer competitors in the area. If you're planning updates, I'd prioritize the guest rooms and bathrooms for maximum impact. Rating: 3/5 stars

Just only 4 pm can check in. 😞

The staff was super friendly and the location is convenient, though there was significant street noise on Friday night even on the 5th floor. We are heavy sleepers so it wasn’t an issue for us. Bathroom was very clean and spacious- one of the better hotel bathrooms I’ve had at this price range! Bed was comfortable but pillows too big. Coffee pods were not replenished and dirty cup was left, but towels were changed and bed was kind of made. Fitness room has a good selection of free weights and two benches, no weight machines, two treadmills and a recumbent bike. Breakfast was passable.
