"This is a little hidden gem in Alajeula! The restaurant/bar staff was especially friendly, helpful and polite. The bartender/mgr. Christopher, was exemplary! drinks were excellent, breakfast was quite tasty. The grounds are so lovely, we just regret we didn’t have more time to walk the trails of the property. The road facing room we had was pretty sparse and a bit noisy. I would recommend you upgrade to at least an interior room."

"I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. The room was clean and tidy (and had AC). There are beautiful plants everywhere and an adorable little dog named Holly. Lastly, the breakfast was...

"Very kind staff. The hotel is located very close to the airport, the bus station, and many shops. It is also very close to Volcano Poas. The free breakfast is a delicious and filling traditional Costa Rican breakfast. I would definitely stay here again."
