If you need a rest between travelling through the big cities of Italy, Hotel Sovestro is the place you need to try. A quiet and well maintained hotel set among its own vineyards and olive orchards, Hotel Sovestro is a must visit. The hotel is nestled in the hills below San Gimmignano, a 30 minute walk to this medieval town with incredible views of the Tuscan country. The hotel also has a Michelin rated restaurant with incredible food. Ensure you try their own wine - its incredible.

We were looking for a Tuscan experience and this hotel more than met our expectations. They had an excellent restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The pool was large and nice to use after a day of visiting. Hotel is close to San Gimignano which is a must see town, We used the hotel shuttle to get to the town since it was an uphill walk and walked back. The sights were quite spectacular. We had a wine tasting of their vineyards wines which was also very nice. Can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very good, great location, great breakfast and amenities. The only bad thing I have to note that the pillows are very hard, very uncomfortable and with unusual sound of creaking. It would be nice also to have a teapot in the room.

without a doubt, this one of the nicest places that my wife and i have stayed, a hidden gem in the beautiful hills of Tuscany! the location is spotless and offers several pools and quiet areas to relax. the staff was amazing, Laura and Michael tended to everything making the stay remarkable. we had to catch a super early flight and Laura worked tirelessly to find us a private taxi to get to the airport by 5:00 am. the food was beyond explanation; best spaghetti that we have ever had, breakfast was a spread of the best meats and cheeses, etc. and home reminders including eggs and bread items. highly recommend this wonderful location if you are traveling to Tuscany, we will be returning in the future.
