"The hotel is nicely situated, and staff was ready and helpful in securing parking. The public spaces are welcoming, spacious and cosy. The breakfast alone is worth staying here--unbelievable. We stayed in many similar hotels during our visit of Tuscany, and this breakfast is EPIC. What a lovely way to start the day! "

"The apartment was wonderful! It is in a great location right in the center of town. It has a lovely view of the valley and is quiet and well appointed for heat in the winter. The kitchen and living/dining room are very large and comfortable. We hosted a dinner for 8 that was enjoyed by all. The bedrooms are likewise large and comfortable. The bathrooms were great - plenty of hot water. There were limited amenities, such as soap for the sinks, but it was sufficient. We appreciated the coffee and filters for the coffee maker. We could not get the clothes dryer to work and disposal of trash is difficult in town as there is no easy place to dispose of it and instructions for disposal are impractical. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment so it wouldn’t work for everyone. We appreciated that the host manager met us at the apartment for check in and showed us details in the apartment and were very responsive for questions. We would definitely love to stay here again if went to Cortona as the apartment is very nice and comfortable."

"Best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Very quiet area. Beautiful views. Absolutely gorgeous. Water and coffee were provided. Clean. Bruno was very patient with us with the language barrier. We also had trouble getting to the place because we were not getting service on our phone till we connected to WiFi. Bruno met us and showed us where to park after showing us the way to the apartment. Very steep climb up to the apartment from the parking area, but Cortona is overall steep. You will climb up and down several times a day to get to the piazza, exploring and eating meals. It’s just the way it is. Kitchen was fully equipped. Heating worked great. No complaints. "

"The outdoor space view was beautiful. The location was just a short walk to donwtown Cortona. The place was very clean,beds were comfortable, communication was excellent, parking spot was so appreciated. We loved our stay!!"

"We have been to Cortona several times before but Govanmi’s apartment was BY FAR the best. It’s beautiful, well-equipped, spacious and has a great lay out. The mattresses are excellent, AC is in every room, making the hot days bearable and location could not be better. Giovanni and his brother were super attentive and even led us stay a day longer when the Italian train system was on strike. They answered any and all questions. We will definitely return - I strongly recommend their place!!One caution: If you are not great on your feet, climbing up the staircases to the apartment (third floor), may be too much. "

"Very nice location, amazing view and some very interesting architectural features in the unit, especially the shower. However, there is no air flow at all unless you keep everything open at all times, and even then it isn't suitable for anyone with breathing issues. The owners were very kind and transferred us to another property upstairs a door over, which had even more stunning views of the countryside and the air quality was much better. We didn't utilize the AC as we wanted the fresh air, but it did have available and the neighborhood was great, away from the main tourist area but not far. "
