Very pretty

Pretty and comfortable in a good location close to everything. Wish the pool was heated so we could have used it, but I must have missed that detail when I booked. Beautiful views and perfect rooms for our young kids (ages 3 and 6).

Great vacation with beautiful sunsets!

This was our second time at this location and it was wonderful! My son loved swimming in the pool and the sunsets were lovely. We're so glad we were able to make a return visit.

Nice home

Our family like the location, cleanliness and simple deco of the house. However, no one dare to jump in the non-heated pool :-) They wished the construction wasn't there and the dining chairs can be more firm. Over all, they enjoyed their 5 day stay and I would rent this property for them again.

Great House

We were in San Diego for my daughter’s re-enlistment and we could not ask for a better house. House was clean and spacious. The location was central to all attractions I.e. San Diego Zoo, Mission Beach, restaurants etc. Pool was great. Kids loved it!

Nice home in a nice neighborhood with a lovely park and playground in the neighborhood. Jessica responded immediately to any questions we had. We had a comfortable stay, and it was very near our son and grandchildren's home.

The property is as advertised. Plenty of room for four adults and a toddler. Great location, very quiet and beautiful sunset views from the backyard. Close to all amenities, easy access to freeways. A quick drive to downtown and beaches.

Cozy Winter visit to San Diego

We felt so lucky to find this home in San Diego. Great location for our short trip to see family and SDSU with our teens. All information, including arrival and departure, was very clear and easy to follow. It was too cold to swim but the backboard had a view, nice plants and privacy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well organized.

Relaxing Retreat

Beautiful house, lots of space. The pool and backyard was so lovely and relaxing. We ate most of our meals outside. Absolutely loved the view into the canyon and watching the sun go down. The only “noise” was from frogs at night. The house is about 15 minutes away from shopping, the beach and the zoo. Would definitely stay here again…only for longer!

Amazing home with a pool

Jessica was a great host. She was immediately responsive with every inquiry I had. My husband and two boys (kinder & 3rd) felt right at home… well, almost. Everything is so nice we were more controlled then at home. The living room is cozy, comfy, and spacious. There’s dvds! A lot of Romcoms and Heat! The kitchen is stacked. No foil or much plastic ware for kids/outside eating. There are a ton of pillows. The house has a nice flow. Such as a standing where it should be. A side table where needed. And the smell of orange blossoms outside was amazing. We hope to be repeat guests!

Beautiful home in central location

This home is beautifully furnished and the location is central to all the attractions we went to ( Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, Balboa Park/San Diego Zoo, Coronado Island and La Jolla Cove). We cooked a lot this trip, and the kitchen is spacious and has updated appliances. We ate every meal at the huge kitchen island. Beds had clean and soft linens with lots of comfortable pillows. We used the attic fan for white noise and air circulation at night. We spent a lot of time in the backyard lying on the loungers looking at the beautiful view. It was too cold to swim in the pool, but my son did a quick dip anyway! We made use of both the deep bathtub and shower. There are grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants very close to the house. Jessica, the host is very friendly and quick with any questions we had. We had a lovely vacation and fell in love with this beautiful city.

Overall pretty decent, clean place, good location, a few hidden fees.

Positives: The place was nice, up-to-date, clean, conveniently located, and had good wifi. Negatives: 1st. I wasn't a fan of the ring security camera above the back door overlooking the whole pool area. I get it that they want to be able to see the back patio doors, but any conversations and obviously you/family going in and out of the pool were concerning. 2nd: The pool was pretty green the day we got there - the pool guy had just left and loaded it up with pool shock, it was swimmable the next day. 3rd: When I contacted the host with a question about doing a load of laundry (washer/dryer locked in the garage from the outside), and also that the thermostat needed a lock code to turn on any air conditioning, she asked for an additional $50 for offsetting "expensive southern California utility fees". I negotiated the fee down, considering I only needed to do a single small load (we were there for 3 nights), and did not end up needing the air conditioning, but the lack of full transparency up front left a bad taste. I would stay somewhere else next time we're in the San Diego area.

We really enjoyed the house and pool and the host was very quick to respond to anything we needed! Location isn’t super close to everything we did but very close to multiple highways and convenient. There’s a fun hike in the neighborhood as well that I eould definitely recommend.

Beautiful views

We enjoyed a very relaxing four night stay. The house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and the swimming pool was very welcome at the end of each day, after exploring San Diego. The views are amazing and we also enjoyed the daily visits of hummingbirds in the garden. If we were ever to come back to California, we would definitely stay here again.
