An der angegebenen Adresse existiert überhaupt kein Hotel. Mir wurde am Anreisetag mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel angeblich geschlossen sei und ich woanders untergebracht werde. Das andere Hotel ist in Ordnung jedoch weiß das Personal nicht gut Bescheid und es kostet viel Zeit und Nerven vor Ort zu klären, dass man eigentlich woanders reserviert und schon bezahlt hat. Wirkt insgesamt alles etwas verdächtig.

I stayed there last September and this hotel charged deposit by mistake. I sent email to hotel a few time about refund the deposit, but never replied at all. I stayed this hotel again last week so that I brought the proof of deposit, which was deducted from my credit card. Reception of this hotel said they will check the situation. Then I returned to the reception to hear the result, and receptionist said it will refund soon. However deposit was never refund at all. Seems like this hotel never consider customer's voice seriously and doesn't care.

Lovely historic hotel. Front reception staff is friendly and was super helpful with my Spanish being minimal. This is our favorite place to stay in Santo Domingo.Its a luxurious respite in a quiet, historic area you must see. One constructive thing is I think they need to pay more attention to the pool. Several times per day someone should clean the debris from leaves. This is a small thing and 9/10 they get it right.
