The king master features a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, a 40-inch TV, and newly renovated bathroom. Walkout the sliding doors onto the deck for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or soak in the hot tub while relishing in the cool breeze and harmony of the surf. The queen master has a 32-inch TV, Keurig, newly renovated bathroom and sliding doors to the expansive deck. The queen bedroom, with a mermaid theme, has a 32-inch TV with direct access to the hallway bathroom. The bunkroom has a full-sized bunk bed, a narrow twin bed and a 32-inch TV. The queen room and bunk room share a hallway bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is a stacked washer and dryer.
The top floor’s oceanfront deck has wide expansive ocean views you will ALWAYS REMEMBER; it is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves, delight at the sunrise/set, and gaze at the stars. Great location!
We had a lovely week at this beach house. Owner was super helpful and very fast responses. Hot tub was really nice and we used it every night. Kitchen well appointed and also has a convenient bar area with little ‘fridge. Path to beach is a short walk and we could hear the ocean from the house. If you want to be on the beach, this is the place to rent!! Beds were comfy and roomy. A/c worked very well and kept us cool. House very dog friendly and appreciate gates on all of the decks so we could leave our dog out there. No carpeting which is a plus when you have a dog! Plenty of TVs at this house and many streaming options. We had a very relaxing and fun week here.

Wonderful Memories
We love the seclusion that Salvo provides and the house was just past the dunes by the beach. The beaches weren’t crowded and the owners provided a cart so we could bring our beach gear in one trip! The house was the right size for the 8 of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals.

Always Remember
We enjoyed our stay at Always Remember! 4 bedrooms were perfect for our group. The hot tub was clean and we could see our sleeping baby in the bedroom from there. Brooke was very easy to communicate with and even offered us an extra night she had available. Checking out at 9am didn’t sound fun, so we took the extra night and it worked out great. The host’s thoughtful recommendations were helpful when packing and planning out what we wanted to do while there. Definitely stop for groceries and drinks on the way in. Restaurants closed very early close by, but Waves Deli was our favorite. Also, don’t miss Alex’s Shrimp Shack- 5 minutes away and we cooked up a feast in Brooke’s well-stocked kitchen. The dunes were a struggle with a baby, but there is a beach cart to carry all your chairs and cooler. Outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off before going inside. Overall, great place to spend time with friends and family.

Great house in the perfect location!
We had the best week at Always Remember. It was a breeze walking straight onto the beach and having the house right there to make lunch or take a break from the sun. We brought our dog with us, and it was so nice to be able to let him out throughout the day. The house was extremely clean and was the perfect set up for us! The hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed them, loved the lists of local spots they provided. We plan to return next year!

Don't rent this house
First off did not get lock code until multiple text messages to manager she was new to this role obviously. House was absolutely the filthiest place we have ever stayed.After two trips to the store we had enough cleaning supplies to be able to stay in the house ( four of us cleaned for 3 hours) we bagged up dusty, dirty, smelly, dog hair laden throw pillows, comforterds, etc. in order to be able to breathe. When the owner became aware of this she filed a claim to replace these things which she said were ruined when we put them in trash bags and put them in a bedroom we did not use because the smell penitrated everything. Interesting way to replace worn out dirty items The local health department is aware of a complaint of the vent in the ceiling of the kitchen that had never ever been cleaned and I am almost certain so much filth, dog hair whatever had clogged to the point that air had not moved through in a long time. In my opinion This house is a health risk. Too bad I can't uload pictures of all the dirt and dog hair but the manager has the pictures and refuses to take any responsibility. We were unable to rent another house at such late notice so only option was to stay. We have used VRBO up and down the East Coast and have never encountered a house this dirty.

Spring getaway
We had a wonderful week!! So relaxing and fun. The house had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the upper deck and hot tub. The ocean was quite chilly, but we put our feet in and walked the beach every day.

Perfect Quiet Location, Thoughtful Hosts
We really enjoyed our time here, and loved the location. The kitchen was well-appointed for a large family who likes to cook meals at home, and the hosts were very thoughtful and responsive, and included great information in the welcome letter, including local recipes and day trip Ideas. Great house!
Perfect property for our family vacation this year. The kids loved the short walk to the beach and the hot tub when they got back to the house. The rooms were great for all of us and the upstairs was perfect for winding down and having family meals. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

The Name Says It All
Our stay at Always Remember was exactly that, something we will Always Remember! Brooke was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to the few questions that we had. The house was exactly as pictured with the exception of a few pictures moved around and a few upgrades like the new couches and kitchen layout. All were great. The location in the community was perfect. There is a public beach access path one house away but the beaches were not crowded with plenty of space to spread out. We played Spikeball, rode the boogie boards that were at the house (at least 8 of them) and just relaxed on the beach. The house includes some basic beach chairs which were fine for us and has a beach cart to haul it all down. The water was warm and the weather was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that you could need. We rented linens from the company that Brooke suggested which worked perfectly. The bedrooms were all very clean and have some nice touches that most beach rentals do not have like a microwave and minifridge in the master bedroom. The bedrooms may have been a little small but we didn't spend a lot of time in them. The best part of the house was the large upper deck with 6 Captain's Chairs that were perfect for late night viewing of the stars and early morning sunrise watching. The walk to the beach is pretty easy but does take about 5 minutes and you gotta wear shoes because the sand gets very hot. Overall a perfect vacation spot!

The start of a great tradition
Title says it all. Brooke’s beautiful beach front cottage and her hospitality started a wonderful tradition with our families. The house is everything you could want in a beach home, that’s built for relaxing and having fun. It’s a short walk to the beach with wagons and chairs to use. Brooke was very sweet and also quick to respond to any questions we had with great recommendation. We are already planning our next trip at her cottage!

Great location in old Salvo. My kind of older, simpler beach house. Fewer frills just everything you need and easy access to a great beach. Brooke, the owner, was gracious and readily available when we had a question. She was great and made everything easy.

This trip was a college graduation present for my daughter. The property was well maintained. There was a broken slider door handle which was immediately taken care on. As first time to OBX the info sheet provided by owners was extremely helpful. Great communication.

Amazing beach house
Highly recommended!!!! Had a wonderful stay at this cute and cozy beach house... The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to help with any needs we had and made the process so easy she made sure we were set up well in advance and had a great stay , he house was nice clean and welcoming and lots of stuff to play on the beach n relax beach chairs and 10x10 canopy two beach carts buckets and shovels n things for the kids 5 or 6 boogie boards , we will def stay here again next visit to OBX

Awesome spot!
We came from Maui to experience kiteboarding on the Atlantic, and this was the perfect spot for us. The kitchen is big and well-stocked with cooking items, and having a separate bar area was a plus. Terrific outdoor shower and area to clean off gear were appreciated. Beds were very comfortable, but be aware you must either bring or rent your own sheets and towels. Owner was super attentive and easy to reach if we needed anything. Highly recommend! Aloha!

Peaceful house in a great location
My partner and I had a lovely stay here! It's in a nice and peaceful area of the island with easy access to the beach and very accommodating hosts! They have Netflix built into the Roku, so you don't need to worry about a streaming device to watch shows. The grill is a standard outdoor park-like grill without a lid, it does the job. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this place!

Outer Banks NC visit - Salvo
We enjoyed the stay at Always Remember. We chose the area as it was located between Nags Head and Hatteras, and not densely populated. This cabin is located with a short walk to the beach over the Dunes. We had a good view of the Atlantic on the top floor, which is also the kitchen, relaxing area of the cabin. Brooke was great to help us with any questions we had of the area, and recommending places to eat. And a big thank you for calling us that she had found a lost cell phone, as we really thought it was lost forever. She mailed it to us, which was greatly appreciated. The gift baskets were very nice gifts to receive also. Especially the flashlight, as it is most certainly dark on the beach after sunset. We would definitely stay here again.
