The updated bedrooms on the 2nd floor include two master bedrooms facing the ocean with sliding doors to the deck and hot tub, a queen bedroom and a bunk-room with two full size beds and a narrow twin. The king master features a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, a 40-inch TV, and newly renovated bathroom. Walkout the sliding doors onto the deck for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or soak in the hot tub while relishing in the cool breeze and harmony of the surf. The queen master has a 32-inch TV, Keurig, newly renovated bathroom and sliding doors to the expansive deck. The queen bedroom, with a mermaid theme, has a 32-inch TV with direct access to the hallway bathroom. The bunkroom has a full-sized bunk bed, a narrow twin bed and a 32-inch TV. The queen room and bunk room share a hallway bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is a stacked washer and dryer.
The top floor’s oceanfront deck has wide expansive ocean views you will ALWAYS REMEMBER; it is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves, delight at the sunrise/set, and gaze at the stars. Amazing

We absolutely loved this home. Close to the beach with the waves breaking. Loved walking on the beach with the dogs and just being so close to nature. Will definitely recommend this special place.

Perfect Quiet Location, Thoughtful Hosts

We really enjoyed our time here, and loved the location. The kitchen was well-appointed for a large family who likes to cook meals at home, and the hosts were very thoughtful and responsive, and included great information in the welcome letter, including local recipes and day trip Ideas. We’ll definitely book again.

Great house!

Perfect property for our family vacation this year. The kids loved the short walk to the beach and the hot tub when they got back to the house. The rooms were great for all of us and the upstairs was perfect for winding down and having family meals. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great Cozy Get Away!

We loved our stay at this property! It was exactly as advertised on this listing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed each morning and evening on the top deck listening to the ocean, watching the sunrise, and looking at the stars. If you are someone who likes to travel with your dog, this property is great! Each deck has a gate, and they even have a built in gate at the top of the stairs inside the home which was awesome. The town this property is in is very quiet and low key, which we loved and prefer. The more populated areas (food/attractions/stores) were just a 20-30 minute scenic drive in either direction. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring getaway

We had a wonderful week!! So relaxing and fun. The house had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the upper deck and hot tub. The ocean was quite chilly, but we put our feet in and walked the beach every day.

We love the location and the fact that the house is dog friendly. There's even a water station in the kitchen for the dogs! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Nice decks with plenty of furniture. Outdoor shower is great.

Wonderful Memories

We love the seclusion that Salvo provides and the house was just past the dunes by the beach. The beaches weren’t crowded and the owners provided a cart so we could bring our beach gear in one trip! The house was the right size for the 8 of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals.

This house was perfect for a small group of friends for a long weekend. The host communication was exceptional. The location, hot tub, and beach access were great. There’s only one thing that could be better about this house, More common spaces besides the spacious top floor. Although this didn’t affect our stay!

Highly Recommend!

We loved this beach house. The owners were fantastic to work with we had great communication. This was the first vacation that we brought our dog, and the house was perfect for it. So many nice little touches that made our stay with our pup easier. Plenty of dog dishes and water bowls. We loved the easy access to the beach, the convenience to the shops nearby, and especially loved the jacuzzi! The house was nice and clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this house and we will be staying here again!

Great house in the perfect location!

We had the best week at Always Remember. It was a breeze walking straight onto the beach and having the house right there to make lunch or take a break from the sun. We brought our dog with us, and it was so nice to be able to let him out throughout the day. The house was extremely clean and was the perfect set up for us! The hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed them, loved the lists of local spots they provided. We plan to return next year!

Worth it

First time on OBX. Not first time booking through VRBO or a vacation rental site. That being said, this place met and exceeded all our needs. Check in-easier than most hotels. Not a duplex/triplex which actually was a want for us, so nice not having others on the same property. Pictures do not do justice for this place. Cleanliness was as expected, spotless. Amenities-a bathroom for every room?! Say less. And half bath up top was great. Even though we stayed in the off season (partially on purpose) The beach access was perfect. If you want a place in OBX, just you and the fam or friends, set up like a vacation home, great communication from owner, there is no looking further.

Great location!

We had a lovely week at this beach house. Owner was super helpful and very fast responses. Hot tub was really nice and we used it every night. Kitchen well appointed and also has a convenient bar area with little ‘fridge. Path to beach is a short walk and we could hear the ocean from the house. If you want to be on the beach, this is the place to rent!! Beds were comfy and roomy. A/c worked very well and kept us cool. House very dog friendly and appreciate gates on all of the decks so we could leave our dog out there. No carpeting which is a plus when you have a dog! Plenty of TVs at this house and many streaming options. We had a very relaxing and fun week here.

Always Remember

We enjoyed our stay at Always Remember! 4 bedrooms were perfect for our group. The hot tub was clean and we could see our sleeping baby in the bedroom from there. Brooke was very easy to communicate with and even offered us an extra night she had available. Checking out at 9am didn’t sound fun, so we took the extra night and it worked out great. The host’s thoughtful recommendations were helpful when packing and planning out what we wanted to do while there. Definitely stop for groceries and drinks on the way in. Restaurants closed very early close by, but Waves Deli was our favorite. Also, don’t miss Alex’s Shrimp Shack- 5 minutes away and we cooked up a feast in Brooke’s well-stocked kitchen. The dunes were a struggle with a baby, but there is a beach cart to carry all your chairs and cooler. Outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off before going inside. Overall, great place to spend time with friends and family.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 6 adults.The beach is literally 100 yards from the cottage.The hot tub was perfect after a 2 hour drive!Waves Deli and Dollar General are right down NC12 and they have everything you need.Plenty of towns to visit within a 30 minute drive.

Very quit, convenient neighborhood. Across the dunes to the beach and a few minutes drive from the Salvo Day use area, which is great for kids!House was stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils! Highly recommended

Great stay, great location

The house worked really well for us, 3 friends traveling together. The kitchen is really well stocked. You do need to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels etc. AND you need to either rent or bring your own sheets and towels. I would stay again.
