"I visited Colorful Colorado for my birthday recently and after the long drive the scenery and mountain air was amazing. Going into my cabin seeing (what is probably) mount Princeton from the window with a view of the town below was amazing. The site was clean and very well put together. "This is my favorite place to go with my dogs when I head to the mountains. I enjoy hiking nearby and hanging out by the river in Salida, but this can leave all of us a bit messy. No worries, at the Loyal Duke, their accommodations are perfect. The bathrooms are older, but clean. The office/ breakfast setup is easy, and I had options of being inside or out for breakfast. I love the simple, updated decor in the room, and will be back again! Not to mention the very nice woman at the desk!!!"
