Excellent value for money, great location and setting but the stand out was definitely the staff. All the staff are the friendliest and most accommodating that I've experienced in my many years of travel to many destinations. Thank you Jet Over staff for a wonderful experience. Food was good too.
The staff were wonderful and made us very welcome. Only stayed the night but had time to enjoy the pool. Meals were fine.. choice of menu for dinner and continental breakfast. Our rooms had plenty of room. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. The Jet Over Hotel is a very short drive up from the ferry terminal with plenty of off street parking.
Such wonderful and friendly staff. Amazing views and good food

Not what I expected from pictures and reviews
Experience was OK. We booked 2 rooms with queen and 2 twin beds but we received rooms with a double and 1 single. The lady I dealt with was nice but the rooms I booked were not available and the price I paid were for the rooms they gave me despite being advertised as queen and 2 twin beds. When asked for a credit or refund they said I would have to deal with the booking agency?? No manager came to speak with me. The best they did was put a spare single bed in each room.
We got there and the pool was closed - the pool was the main thing that attracted me to the hotel as I have 3 young kids who all just want to swim.
We had 5 big suitcases and there was no assistance with taking them to room. We had to drag all suitcases up the stairs and try and manage our young ones.
When our rooms were serviced they did not replace the blankets - this happened 3 times in a row. When asked for more blankets the night team had to bring blankets from other rooms.
Our team had a great stay at the Jet Over. Great service, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. Breakfast was tasty and served buffet style, so no waiting! Dinner was also good. Nice beds in very clean rooms. The area near the pool is so beautiful and serene, it is breathtaking and so relaxing.
Beautiful place ,good staff, quite, clean n more welcome to relax this place anytime

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It was close to the wharf.
The Hotel staff are lovely and welcoming. The management team need to look seriously at updating the facility. I stayed in a room where it smelt like damp and the carpet was too old and dirty. The shower head did not have a proper holder. The bed sheets are stained as well, even though I know they have been cleaned and dried.

OK but overpriced
It was just OK; however the hotel is overpriced for what it is. And we were also charged USD 50 dollars in unspecified fees and taxes.
The room was a bit awkward: the bed was upstairs, and the kitchenette and bathroom were downstairs.
Relaxing though rooms & meal servce needs imprving
it was good to get away from the hustle of the mainland in Apia to somewhere where it was quiet and relaxing. The pool was great, especially next to the 'beach' overlooking the 'ocean' seeing the mainland in the distance.
The positivea: a good place to stay with pleasant, very helpful staff. A good restaurant. Nice pool area.
The negatives: a pile of sawdust in the bottom of the wardrobe and only 1 coathanger. Very poor water pressure which made having a shower a long process.
Not all amenities specified in the pre-paid booking were provided (e.g. no microwave provided).
No hot water, holes in netting and door jams for mosquitoes to enter, and one room had a dangerously loose floor board.
We had to negotiate to be moved to more satisfactory rooms.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room neat and tidy large enough for the two of us.
Was a bit disappointed with no hot water. I have to go and ask for milk and sugar to make a cup of tea. Other than that was ok.

once we got past the street-side look we realized it was really nice out back and the water view was lovely. The rooms were just ok-not cozy at all and no comfy places to sit-thank god for the nice lobby. Food fine, service awesome! The security guard was lovely with my son.
Communication between 'Head Office' in Apia and Jet Over in Savaii is a problem. Staff in Savaii knew very little about their bookings and about bookings made over booking websites. The rooms we booked were not the rooms we were allocated. We had paid online for ocean view rooms and on checking in were allocated standard Mall rooms. After a lot of 'discussion' we were given an ocean view room. We paid for a room with a double bed and two single beds - we got one double bed and one single.
Despite questioning our allocated room against our confirmed booking and asking repeatedly to repair the shower, we checked out after 4 days without any improvement in sight. In Room 309, supposedly the best suite with a sea view, you could not see the sea without going outside well away from the room. The shower consisted of dripping water when turned on full, and it was very difficult to get a proper body wash without taking a very long time standing while moving the shower-mouth around by hand. Part of the floor had seriously bubbly and squeaking areas that threatened to give way when you stood on it. There was no place to hang clothes other than on chairs and no telephone available inside the room.

Nice view, nice pool
Pool and view from the ocean view rooms was great.
However, The rooms were pretty dated and tired - the stucco ceiling in our room had a huge patch missing from what i can only assume was a rough repair job.
The bathroom was dark and dingy with no windows.
The food in the restaurant was basic
The staff were mostly helpful and the onsite car rental was good - this is not the place to just hang out at hotel - definitely just a base to explore Savaii from and to cool off in the pool at the end of the day.
