「The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely.」

「Great stay at Wellingtons. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable for a family of five with the added benefit of an outdoor pool, which we used multiple times after the beach. It’s not far from Salcombe centre but still a good 25mins uphill when walking back to the apartment (we had little ones). We would highly recommend and would return. Thanks!」

「The apartment is well appointed and Penny, the owner, very helpful. It has one of the best views in the building with two balconies facing the estuary and coast. The location is excellent with two hotel restaurants, a spa, coffee shop, and a short ferry ride to Salcombe nearby. A National Trust property begins next door offering plentiful footpaths along the coast or fields of wildflowers. 」

「Beautiful and very spacious apartment, just in front of the beach, with great views and a lovely terrace. Everything was perfect. The owners had even welcomed us with brownies and scones/jam/cream - very thoughtful. The property is an a beautiful place, just across the beach, 10 min away from Salcombe either by car or by boat. We preferred South Sands to Salcombe itself. Lovely coastal walks nearby as well.」

「We had a fantastic stay at Ferry Watch. It is well-located to explore Salcombe for the weekend; plenty of space for four adults and five children; and overall is well-maintained. The children’s mattresses are not super comfortable and it can be a little noisy at night but we would definitely stay again. The hosts were great at being in touch beforehand and the check-in process was very simple.」
