Nov 15, 2019The island is very humble, it is very clean, people are friendly. About 8 sight seeing attraction.Lots of European (I met lots from Scandinavian region) tourists. A windy this time of the year And therefore Santa Maria Beaches are with strong waves.

Apr 11, 2019April is not yet high season, so staying in Santa Maria would be also quiet/cozy. You can easily find sunbeds, enough spaces to swim in the sea, etc. And the hotel area was sometimes too windy to feel even cold when cloudy.
