The D-Day landing beaches will surely be on your holiday itinerary, but take the time to discover the treasures of the Cotentin peninsula, stretching from coast to coast between the Pointe de Barfleur and the Cap de Carteret.

Lovely home in a fantastic location

We stayed in St Mere Eglise for 3 + weeks and really enjoyed the house. It is a very gracious home with everything you might need and feels more like you are staying at a friend's home than a rental. Having two full bathrooms (one on each floor) was a nice luxury and would be great for two couples or a larger group. The home is on a nice street with other homes around and is close to the main town as well as a good grocery store on the outskirts. Excellent access to the road which will take you to all the D-Day sights. Don't miss the memorial to the "parachuchutistes" at the La Fiere battle site which is right down the street. Highly recommend this property.
