"Nous avons occupé le logement à 4 (2 adultes 2 grands ados) en pleine canicule. "The staff are very welcoming and professional. The lobby and restaurant were nice but the room was horrible. It was so small we couldn’t walk past each other. There was very little space between the end of the bed and side of the bed. The walls were like rough concrete, painted in a dark rust colour. The window was small but at least had a nice view. The bathroom was terrible. The toilet bowl had a brown stain in the bowl. The floor covering was old and decaying. The walls were scraped. The cistern wall cover was old and scraped. The toilet door was old and had clearly been mended more than once. The whole room and bathroom urgently needs to be refurbished."

"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "

"The property is lovely, although a little tired; the room was large with sofa, good storage and some strange wall hangings (think swords and battle axes!), but the bed was below par - two different beds pushed together that moved and were not very comfortable. The gym is good with a balcony that looks over the forest, and the spa was great with good massages and spa facilities. Overall, a recommend, but wish they would upgrade the bed, pillows and bedding to match to overall feeling of the hotel. "
