Carpe Diem Guesthouse, a guesthouse near the Camino de Santiago
The gite-carpediem .france is an old stone barn, very close to my house; as we come and go, we will meet each other in discretion and sympathy. The property is located in the charming village of Saint-Projet, nestled in a huge enclosed garden with an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. A small road borders the property but traffic is modest.
Le Carpe Diem is composed as follows: On the first floor, a living room comprising the living room, the open kitchen area and a toilet, all for an area of 35m2. The floor is tiled and covered with a carpet in the living room. This room has a large double-glazed window and a window.
Upstairs a large attic room of 35m2. In this room there is a double bed in an alcove, a single bed in an alcove, a single bed that can be used as a bench seat and the bathroom with shower. The floor is covered with seagrass. This room has a window and a Velux window. Linen is provided
The open kitchen is fully equipped - oven, hob, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, crockery...
The garden: You will have access to the entire garden and the "piscinette". At the back of the Carpe Diem is a magnificent "nature" terrace with a pergola and an opulent wisteria. Table and chairs to take meals in the shade, deckchairs, an adult bike and a children's bike are at your disposal. You will enjoy beautiful starry skies on the long summer evenings. Cats are my friends but Orestes and Espérance may make life difficult for yours when you meet in the garden. If your 4-legged friend is a dog, it must be kept on a leash in the garden.
At your disposal: Books and board games Table and chairs to take meals in the shade, sun loungers An adult bike and a children's bike.
Ideal for lovers of nature, hiking and heritage because the region is rich in architectural beauty, the Carpe Diem offers comfort, charm and tranquility for a stay alone, as a couple, with family or friends. Numerous hiking trails from the village and the wonderful dry stone walls... including a diversion of the Camino de Santiago!
Activities near and in the surrounding area: fishing, swimming (lake, river, swimming pool), canoeing, horse riding, snacks at the water's edge...
No shops in the village except for a "bistronomic" restaurant and its bar. Numerous markets, local producers and shops in the surrounding area.
There are many village festivals in summer as well as quality artistic performances.
