What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and informative staff who made everything so easy and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. "For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. "Overall this wad good hotel for an overnight stay. Breakfast service was very poor."

"Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though."
