Maison Geo 1: Gite for max 8 people with beautiful swimming pool

Our charming gîte is located in an authentic little hamlet in the Ardèche called “Le Travers,” in the municipality of Saint-Mélany, 25 km from Joyeuse (where you’ll find all the shops) in the southern Ardèche. Situated at an elevation of 620 m, in a peaceful, natural setting of rocks, forests, and streams.

This is Cottage 1 (max. 8 people), which can be rented separately or together with Cottage 2 (max. 6 people).

Each cottage has a sunny terrace. The large shared garden also features several terraces surrounding the pool (9x4 m), which keeps you cool on hot days. There is also a large barbecue in the garden.

The cottages are rented separately but can also be rented together. They each have their own privacy and terrace. Only the garden and the pool, with its spacious terrace and lounge chairs, are shared.

Ideal for those who love nature, peaceful vacations, serenity, and the countryside. There are also plenty of outdoor activities for active guests: hiking, swimming, canoeing/kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, etc. The cottages are located along the hiking trails “Le sentier des Lauzes” and “Pont de la Brousse”

From one of the terraces, you can see the Milky Way stretching unobstructed above you. No (air or light) pollution within a 100-kilometer radius.

Please note: In July and August, a minimum 7-night stay is required, with check-in and check-out on Saturdays.
