Will never go back

I didn't stay. I got there and nobody was in the office. I had to go to a bar/tavern to get my key. When i ooened the door to my room the smell hit me. There was old dust on the tv and the fridge door was streaked with i do not know what. It was terrible. So i gave the key back but as we could not reach anybody who worked there i had to go back the next day to get a reimbursement.

Pig Pen

The room was dirty, the beds had not been changed there was no heat and the tv did not work lights did not work and there was no front desk staff. No bathroom supplies. We did not spend the night and had to return at 0900 the next day to get a refund. They had also demanded a $100.00 key deposit.

The price was good, the staff was helpful but I felt that these issues could have been dealt with before a Client begins occupying the room to discover these "faults", i.e. the baseboard heater not working and a plug-in space heater was brought in. To call for a repairman to "unlock the air locks" in the system. 2 ladies found no heat in the room and changed with me to deal with the problem. No compensation was offered to remedy my inconvenience for my follow-up. The staff was pleasant though.

Needs a little work

The motel is either on its way up or way down. Construction was going on, so I'm guessing that it's going up. To start, there's no morning coffee in the room, and no breakfast. The TV was hooked up to a light switch, which requires the staff to come and turn it on. The bathroom is very sparse, with barely enough towels (thin) and no electrical outlet. Other units in the motel are in disrepair or under construction. WiFi is fine though. The staff is very nice too. Management seems to be working hard on renovation, but there is a way to go. At the moment, the price was about right.

Avoid this place

Avoid this run down seedy place. Clientele sketchy, Saw a drug deal happen in the parking lot. Left the hotel and found a safer place to stay.

Room didn't match picture on site. Fellow checking them in was not friendly, had to be called to fix one of the lamps which is really old and didn't work very well.

I was fine that the cost was under $100. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Even thought I requested a smoke free room the sheets and room in general did smell like smokers had been living for weeks in the room. A a better note the cleaning staff did bring in a couple air fresheners. The waitress at breakfast was very friendly so in all I was happy with my experience.

This place makes a dump look nice

This should not be even listed as a hotel. The place is about to fall apart and very dirty. I’m surprised this place is not shut down.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable, loved the water pressure in the shower! The parking lot needs work. The receptionist was a blast to deal with, and the bar on site was fun to hang out in and order food to! Nice cold beer always makes for a good night! It was only 13 mins from the ferry to digby.

I booked for the hotel from Halifax before driving to Saint John's but I arrived at 12:25 am but the reception was closed and I could not get to hotel and unable to go anywhere I continued to travel all night to US. This is very bad as they charged for room and I did not even checkin and they closed just before I arrive. I will never use expedia again never

Worst Place I Ever Stayed in my 30 yrs of Booking

My first review was removed because of too much honesty.. I would sleep in a road ditch or my car before here .. un-safe, not as posted should be closed down and tore down.

Motel had much cheaper price than advertised

The motel has a price much cheaper at front desk than the one advertised on expedia. Less than half per day. And they said that expedia charges 50% and thats why they charge expedia customers more. The building looks extremely old and really bad maintained. Additionally there was bedbug in the room. The air conditioning wasn't working and the clean up was mainly changing towels. They didn't even swep/vacuum the floor during my one week stay (only when I asked). The only positive thing I have to mention is that I informed that I would receive an envelope by mail and they called me when it arrived (I wasn't there anymore). Otherwise it was a quite terrible experience. I didn't know expedia worked with this kind/quality of accomodation, I'm very disappointed.

Pas du tout comme sur les images du site. Délabré. Nous ne sommes pas restés, ne semblait pas sécuritaire du tout avec des jeunes enfants. Liste de frais à payer en cas de bris en gros sur le comptoir et chambre non-fumeur avait des mégots fumants dans le bac extérieur.
