"The property is excellent throughout: comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The garden, with different seating spots depending on the sun's position and strength, is also extensive. I loved the area too, local towns Brantome & Nontron, the Perigord- Limousin Regional Park and the plus beau village of St Jean de Cole. I should hope to return!"

"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly...

"Jolie maison dans les bois, avec le chant des oiseaux. Denise avec sa bonne humeur nous a accueillis avec un large sourire et une gentille attention à déguster. Rien ne manque et le grand jardin, très joliment "

The garden and swimming pool were all fantastic and our kids had the most amazing time. A short 15min walk into the city centred + the host was kind, helpful and always on hand to answer any questions we had. A wonderful stay. Thank you"

"We had a very relaxing stay and loved the gardens and surrounding area. The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone. Communication was very good leading up to the stay - a couple of minor delays with responses when at the property but overall good. We would definitely go back "

Merci beaucoup. Un peu de sérieux sur les réservations, le lieu je sais pas ,je n'y suis jamais entré. Mais l'accueil pas forcément courtois. Donc pour moi endroit a éviter. Voilà mon avis. Location was wonderful, just near enough to a local bar for a quick sundowner before heading back for a pool side evening. "The Green Cabin on the lake did not disappoint. A beautiful peaceful place where all you can hear is the bird song and the fish jumping. The cabin itself was beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. It provide all the comforts of home. A great place to escape the rat race and relax. Supermarket a few minutes drive away and some beautiful towns and villages to explore within a 50 min drive. Would highly recommend."

"This farmhouse feels out in the country but is in walking. Distance of the local village and 15 minutes from Perigueux. We used it as our base to explore the midieval villages and prehistoric cave art of the region. It was perfect for the two of us."

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."
