"The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

"Les Roses de Coulon is a beautiful retreat, nestled in the quiet countryside. It has all the amenities needed to spend the whole time relaxing in and around the property, but if you can tear yourself away there is plenty to do within a short drive. "The hotel was as described and a lot better than some of the rather mean reviews !! Staff were friendly, and easy going, no rush, the breakfast was as described and plentiful. This is not a 4 star hotel its budget and worked perfectly for me. It does what it says on the tin !! Its great value and so near the railway station , yet on a quiet side street. Whafs not to like ?"

"This was merely a stop off as it was close to Bas-Armagnac where we had a distillery tour. While we are more interested in French charm, this was more of a modern property but was perfect for our purposes. The room was huge and very clean with a pool view. The bathroom was awesome and even had a tub. The lobby area was nice and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend the property."

"Only comment would be that there were a lack of power outlets in the foom & the bathroom would benefit from some tlc. The bar & restaurant were not open. I'm led to believe seasonal opening although on Hotels.com said that they were on site however should gave advised if open or not"
