"Very cool historic house. We stayed in the Illinois Room with a bay window that overlooks the street. The bed was comfortable and the room was decorated in the old style. There are rocking chairs on the porch for people watching."

"Great staff for taking care of adjusting our room for my wife that needed a walk in shower. The gentleman that kept the breakfast room full of food for breakfast, and also kept the area cleaned. Thanks also to the cleaning staff. I would Definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was well-located (within walking distance) to restaurants, historical sites and shops. It was a very nice hotel and seemed to have been recently updated. It was very clean, had a microwave and refrigerator. While there wasn't an in-room coffee maker, there was coffee just down the hall. Parking was free and convenient. Free breakfast was pretty good with many options. Didn't use the indoor pool or visit, so can't comment on. There was a business center if you needed a computer with printer. Overall, just very neat and clean."

"The only thing I would caution anyone about is that if you mind noise, the walls are paper thin and you can hear the footsteps above you if the person walks heavy, you will hear it but that didn’t bother me personally. Our AC didn’t seem to push a lot of cold air but I didn’t say anything about it to the front desk and I know they would’ve switched my room for me if I did, so I’m not going to hold it against them. Breakfast was good and the staff was super kind and even let me get a paper plate from the breakfast area in the evening."
