「Spacious and comfortable for 6 adults to relax indoors and out. Well supplied kitchen, which is good because you should plan to cook your meals. Restaurant scene in Chama is seeing some turnover. Only one cafe was open during our mid-week stay. Walking distance to the train station, which is well worth the visit. Forested area with elk and deer in and around the town. Beautiful country, I would come again. 」

「Close to train station. Secure, cozy, clean place. Good size for my family of 3. Liked the decor. The yard is shared with another building. We used the desk for homework. Bathroom was small. Soft rugs. Sadly many places to eat and shop were closed on a Saturday night.」

「My husband took 3 family members for an elk hunt in Chama area. The home was perfect, availability and convenience for the hunt was exceptional! They had the conveniences of home…and truly appreciated the downstairs area DID NOT have televisions! They were able to visit throughout the 5 days uninterrupted by a TV! 「Beautiful cabin in wooded area, but still close to downtown and train depot. Owners are very responsive and dealt with minor issue that came up, quickly and well. Kitchen is well stocked with the basics for cooking, which is great because there really are few dining options in Chama.」

「Couldn't beat the location, it was so easy to walk to the train station. The kitchen of course was excellent. I wish we could have stayed long enough to really put it to use. There was plenty of space for the two of us to spread out. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.」

「If you are planning to stay in Chama and are riding the train, this is the place for you. Staying in this train engine tiny home met and exceeded our expectations. The unit is very new and maintained with the guests in mind. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overall stay. And on another note is the outstanding awesomeness of our hosts. The communication was above and beyond. Well done. You will not be disappointed in staying at Chama Crossing. 」

「The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!」

「This place is so cute and set up with everything you need to be comfortable. We spent time at the river (7 min walk from property), Herron Lake and El Vado Reservoir. We didn’t catch any fish, unfortunately, but everywhere we went was really beautiful. Abby is an amazing host, super helpful, kind and accommodating. 」

「Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. ...

「Beautiful little house, It was very clean and updated. I loved the large yard for our puppy. Beds were clean and comfortable, it was very nice that there was a laundry room with laundry soap. Would love to stay here again if we visit chama again. Also there was a nice little coffee shop that we walked to a couple blocks away.」
