The neighborhood and location is great. The property needs some love. The carpet is old and dirty in many spots and quite wrinkled in many areas. I slept in the master bedroom and was a little disappointed that only one bar of soap was supplied for the whole bathroom. It could be a super nice place if the owners would invest in some inprovements.

The location was lovely, and we especially appreciated the charm of the front porch—it was a highlight of our stay. That said, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The coffee station was a thoughtful touch, though it only included filters and was missing coffee and creamer. The home wasn’t fully clean upon arrival, and the furniture felt a bit dated. Unfortunately, the washer left rust stains on a sentimental baby blanket, which was upsetting to say the least. While the backyard didn’t feel very inviting, the surrounding area was quiet and pleasant.With that said this was a last-minute booking and appreciate having had a place to stay. However, given our experience, we’d likely explore other options in the future. Thank you.

Lovely little cabin

Generally this place was great- they have some board games, a fully stocked kitchen, and room for everyone. I think we just had bad luck. The fridge went out while we were there and we couldn’t get the two bedrooms to the left to be cooled off. One of the rooms the ceiling fan did not work. But- made due with the one fan they had on the property- and the maintenance team was so helpful by bringing a new fridge! I think it was a decent place to stay for the price!

best time ever

We loved the location and the weather while we was there. The house was very clean and cool had all things needed for our week stay. Me and my wife loved it so much we are thinking of buying a house in the area in the future . Overall we had a blast everything from kitchen to games we were able to bound as a family and grow closer to one another. We would definitely come back in the future . It was amazing

The property is a bit dated, but otherwise it was exactly what we anticipated from the listing. It is in a great neighborhood close to everything Ruidoso.

Has potential

This property has a lot of potential to be a really nice place to stay. They need to make sure that they are advertising correctly with this property though. The beds are not queen sized and there are some pieces of furniture that are broken and not kid friendly/ safe- like the day bed in the room with the bunk beds.

Pleasant vacation

This location is amazing! Great area to take walks around the golf course. Got to see numerous amounts of elk, mule deer, and wild horses everyday in the area is this home during our stay. Fabulous large deck to sit on and take in the fantastic weather and wildlife walking the neighborhood. Great parking for this home also. House was clean, spacious, and well supplied.

Nice..but needs some upgrades

I like the property and the neighborhood. My first impression was the front porch area needed some TLC and a good coat of stain or paint. The house was clean. The sofa and love seat really needs replaced, the both are outdated and very uncomfortable. The lamp shades in the living room need replaced. The pillows need replaced. We had a couple of issues and the maintenance was right on top of it and resolved them very quickly. I was very impressed. If they make just a few updates it would be the perfect stay.
