Very good service, breakfast and value for money

Very good service, especially with the parking. Very good breakfast and clean rooms which were kept tidy during the stay. Beautifully situated at the Rhine and in the city centre.

Stated they had a software malfunction and were overbooked, so they booked us at Hotel Rüdisheim Hof about seven blocks away. Very small room and long walk to anywhere. Not happy.

The hotel has definitely been going a while and has some quirks due to modernisation in the past, like our toilet lid cannot stay up due to the design as well as the shower room being tiny. The car park is certainly tight and they have to keep a set of car keys in case they have to move the car. They did mention that they had to move mine but obviously after the builder had tried to ram his way through my car first. Although I can't prove that because I didn't notice it until I went out but it was obvious when I got back by the rubbish paint on the van which was on my bumper. They should have mentioned it really. Apart from that breakfast was excellent with a great choice as was food in the evening, extremely nice bar staff /waitresses and the hotel is right in the middle of Rudesheim so plenty of choices and things to do

Das Hotel war eigentlich i.o. Allerdings sind die Zimmer ( Duschen....) im Anbau in einem Altersbedingt schlechten Zustand..... Und der Parkplatz im Innenhof ist echt ein Erlebniss, wie soviele Autos auf so wenig Platz passen, ist echt schon Sehenswert und für den Service eine echte herrausvorderung.

Die Zimmer nach vorne sind ziemlich laut. Die Bahnlinie fährt im 5 Minutentakt nachts und die Bahnschranke bimmelt auch noch dabei. Parkplatz neben dem Hotel ist bescheiden. Mitarbeiter parken dauernd die Autos um, damit andere Autos frei werden. Ist etwas lästig aber nicht anders zu lösen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und bemüht.

..Bett war in Ordnung, Personal freundlich...leider war es keine Erholung sondern Stress, da Güterzüge die ganze Nacht vorm Fenster fahren ...wenn man dann aber ein Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage hat, kann man sich entscheinen zwischen (heiß bzw. laut oder eben beides) Am Duschkopf scharfkantige Abbruchstellen, Farbe bröckelt im Bad von den Wänden, abgebrochene Fliesen, schmutzige Badtüre und der Bodenbelag von der Sonne ausgeblichen also schmutzig wirkend...unser Fazit ...Rüdesheim gerne ohne Parkhotel...

Cute Hotel Centrally Located

Cute hotel with great staff and service. Great breakfast buffet. Lovely location right in the middle of town. However I should have realized that the train tracks were close by and that means trains running every 6 to 10 minutes all through the night. And with no AC in the hotel and our top floor room we had to keep the windows open to be able to deal with the heat. This meant zero sleep for us and our young kids. While not the hotels fault just keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper like us. Since the windows were kept open we had at least 7 spiders in the room and were constantly picking them up and tossing them out. Not a restful stay but pleasant none the less.

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, na ja. Ich sage mal das war ein Zimmer aus den 70igern. Man hatte es draußen sehr heiss und man musste die Fenster öffnen , da keine Klimaanlage. Man stellte dort einen lauten Ventilator ins Zimmer. Ok. Fenster nachts auf und man hatte das Gefühl es fährt alle 30 min ein Güterzug durch das Zimmer. Die Gleise der Bahn liegen direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Aber 130€ für das Zimmer ist für mich zu teuer

BEWARE...BED BUG!! After a 2 night stay we were covered with bed bug bites. I immediately contacted the hotel to alert them and provided photos. The manager, Ralf Seifer, offered us a partial refund. We had the room for 2 nights plus breakfast plus parking. We told him we thought it was fair to refund the 2 night room rate and that we would accept the charge for the breakfast and parking. We were attempting to be fair considering the disturbing, disgusting and unsettling amount of bed bug bites we sustained. Ralf agreed to credit our original form of payment and then he went dark - we never heard from him again - even after several follow up emails. I have the emails with him and he blamed the Chinese guests per the following email from him: "Dear Mrs xxxx, pleas send me your account number. We will send you Euro 200,- and say sorry for all the inconvinience. Two days before your arrival was Chinese people in the room. We think, that they bring the bed buds in our hotel. We emty now the complete room and clean everything. Sorry again we hope that will be ok for you. With best regards, Ralf Seifer". So the bed bug issue was bad enough, then he blames the "Chinese" guests, then he promises a refund and then he does absolutely nothing. We reached out to Orbitz for help and they were totally unsuccessful which is equally disappointing.The town of Ruedesheim am Rhein is beautiful & lots to do. There are numerous hotels available - we recommend staying elsewhere.

Die Unterkunft wird altbacken, es wurde seit langem nicht renoviert/saniert. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, im Zimmer roch es nach Essen und die Parkplätze und die Zufahrt dorthin sind sehr eng. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, meiner Meinung nach hat diese Unterkunft jedoch keine 4 Sterne verdient.

Loved the location on the Rhine river. We had problems with spiders in the room. My sister got bite and had a bad reaction on her arm. We didn’t bring it up with the lovely hotel.

Greeted at desk friendly and accommodating. As I have a handicap ( Oxygen concentrator) clerk also took bags up for me. After sometime went out to dinner and on return hotel was swamped with bus guests ( who were literally hogging entire space in front of elevator) Desk clerk saw me and how slow I was going with my concentrator asked guests who were waiting for elevator to let me on fist so I could get up to room. Netter Service, aber in etwas in die Jahre gekomme

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist aber in die Jahre gekommen und die Qualität der Zimmer ist nicht auf dem Stand eines modernen 4-Sterne Hotels.
