Nice quiet, renovated, clean room. Heat in the room and bathroom were not working. A space heater was provided which did the trick after being on for a while, but made for a very cold room to come back to after a long day of exploring the highlands. TV didn’t work with hotel internet, had to hotspot off my phone to be able to watch anything. Bed and pillows were just ok. Staff were very friendly.

Nice staff and place! So nice that they do takeaway lunches and they have delicious dinner. They only gave us one roll of toilet paper, so we had to ask for more. There are great showers!

The service was good and we were very happy. However on our first breakfast, the cook came to chastise us for being 5 minutes late! We had requested breakfast at 9.00 am but arrived no more than 5 minutes after 9.00. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for the food.

Food was good, staff friendly and helpful. Room nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked and tasty. Tea/coffee facilities in room could be a bit better and a bigger bar only area would be an improvement, however overall happy with our stay.

Good location for the area and easy to find. Hotel itself is a bit dated, including our room. Wifi was terrible and essentially useless for our stay. Dinner was good but waited a long time to be seated and served. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, an okay experience.

Hard to review fairly as we were there only briefly but staff were friendly and room served us well. Felt breakfast was pricey unless you want a big meal to get you going, but no lower option if you just wanted a light start. Overall cost of room excessive in my opinion but seems to be the case in Scotland
