「I rented this charming cottage in Litchfield to celebrate a milestone Birthday, as I love this area of CT. I couldn’t be happier about our experience. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Everything was easily and clearly communicated. Anything we needed they were happy to help with. The cottage was exactly as depicted in the photographs. Absolutely charming. We’re looking forward to planning another visit 」

「Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! 」

「Wonderful place to totally relax. It's exactly as expected with a short ride to shopping and a **TERRIFIC** beach. The view is amazing and interior level of finishes are outstanding. Lots of space, convenience, and quiet solitude. What more can one want? 」

「1st class Lake FRONT w/ million dollar views; however, it will be difficult for the elderly to go up and down the steps from the house to the dock on the lake. Beautiful exterior masonry. Only complaint there should be instructions provided for guests on how to use all the different air conditioners and electronics. 」

「Delightful stay! Quiet and cozy property that was fully-stocked and super clean. Charmingly decorated for a beach cottage feel.Whole family loved the patio with direct access from the kitchen, which enabled coffee/meals (and work email!) on the picnic table. Kayaks and paddle boards were very much appreciated, as was the dock for swimming off of.
