One of the most beautiful beaches in Istria - Cisterna beach is only 2.5 km away from the house.
The beautiful Villa Monkodonja is located in a sunny area, immersed in the entchanting sea air, surrounded only with
mediterannean nature, quiet and peaceful.

The completely fenced garden has a large pool, sunbeds, and a terrace with a large dining table and grill.
The modern, fully equipped interior is completely air-conditioned. There are two bedrooms - a master bedroom with a large, comfortable king size bed, and a bedroom with a bunk bed. The living room sofa can be used for sleeping which makes the capacity of the house 4 + 2.

Free WLAN is ensured, and there are plenty of secure parking places.

Wunderbarer Rückzugsort

Wir als 4-köpfige Familie mit Hund haben die Zeit in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, sodass unsere Hündin sich frei bewegen konnte. Jeden Tag übers Mäuerchen die schönen Esel, Schweine und Schafe zu beobachten war ein wunderbarer Nebeneffekt und wir hatten trotzdem unsere Privatssphäre. Der Pool war das absolute Highligt! Wir sind glücklich, so eine schöne Zeit dort gehabt zu haben!

Erholung

Zum entspannen und erholen, ideal, da wenn man möchte sich den ganzen Tag am legen kann und die Füße hochlegen. Jedoch ist die Stadt Rovinjio mit dem Auto in weniger als 20 min. erreichbar, dort gibt es tolle Location um bei einem Glas Wein, mit tollen Gerichten, sich wohlfühlen. Selbst ein Spaziergang ist eine angenehme Abwechslung.

Lovely and Peaceful

This is a nice conversion in a rural location but not too far from Rovinj and from the beachfront areas outside of Rovinj (walkable in 30 minutes or drivable in 5). Very nice outdoor area and small pool, reasonably comfortable interior. A mix of old decor / furnishing and modern but providing all that is required for a self-catering break away in the peaceful countryside. Gordan, the 'next-door' manager was very helpful in spite of language barriers (but not intrusive) - though we needed to call him on the phone when we arrived as he did not appear to have received our messages en-route but he came immediately to welcome us. He also immediately organised to replace the TV which was not working -(likely taken out by electrical storm the previous week). There were things that could have been better done (generally small things, batteries for clocks, gas lighter empty, light bulbs out, fridge makes a lot of odd noises! and there were a lot of flies (but there are at home in Italy at present - it seems to be the season of flies). The nearby pigs and donkeys only added to the occasion and were not at all a problem for us or our two dogs, who were entirely at home within 12 hours - having a functional and secure outdoor space for them was brilliant. Overall, we had a very nice week of peace and quiet. if you want to be in the bustle of Rovinj or within walking distance, then this would not be for you, but if you have a car or like a good walk, it is ideal. Air-con a plus!

Sehr schöner Ort zum Abschalten

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam und schön. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, von der anliegenden Farm bekommt man wenig mit, aber genug von der Sonne und schönem Wetter. Der Pool ist klasse. Zum Strand fährt man so um 12 Minuten oder geht halt halbe Stunde. Zu Empfehlen ist auf jeden Fall der Park Zlatni Rt mit seinen Zedern, Kiefern und Stränden und Altstadt Rovinj (die einzige Stelle wo es Schwierigkeiten mit Parken gibt). Es gibt in der Nähe Aqua-Parks, Kaffees, Paintball und ähnliches.

Ideal für ruhigen Urlaub

Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Nach Ausflügen in die Umgebung konnten wir uns am Pool entspannen. Der eingezäunte Garten war ideal für unseren Vierbeiner. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

Sauber ruhig und für Haustiere super.

Objekt war sauber und wie in dem Angebot beschrieben. Der Pool war super und die ruhige Lage sehr entspannend. Der Hund konnte sich auch um das Gelände auch frei bewegen!

Ein Traum mit Hund

Wir haben uns für dieses Haus entschieden, da wir mit unserem Hovawart ein abgesperrtes Grundstück brauchen. Das Haus ist kleiner als es auf den Bildern wirkt, aber für uns vier und Hund völlig ausreichend. Vermieter Gordan war sehr freundlich. Die Terrasse war sehr bequem mit genug Platz um auch mal ein Kajak zu trocknen. Der Pool war immer in einem Topzustand. Für die regnerischen Tage oder Abends gibt es schnelles WLAN. Die Esel von der Farm nebenan hört man gelegentlich, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Unser 10-jähriger hat mit den Eseln Freundschaft geschlossen und wollte diese gar nicht mehr verlassen. Zum schönsten Strand Istriens "Cisterna Beach" sind es nur knappe 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, nach Rovinj ebenfalls nur 10 Minuten.

Schönes Haus

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem wunderbaren Pool und schöner Terrasse. Ruhige Lage. Zum Strand oder zum Einkaufen muss man aber das Auto nutzen.

Super ruhige Lage und tolle Umgebung. Extrem tolles Grundstück für den Hund , der überall frei laufen konnte. Im Haus selber ist alles was man braucht. Sollten wir nochmal nach Kroatien kommen , dann wieder in dieses Haus. Beste Grüße alex

Perfekter ruhiger Urlaub mit Hund

Das Haus war super und entsprach den Angaben auf der Homepage. Unser Zwergdackel - und natürlich wir auch - haben uns super wohlgefühlt, er hat auch Freundschaft mit den zahlreichen Eseln geschlossen und mit ihnen geschmust. Der Vermieter Gordan war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Haus ist wunderschön und lädt zum Wiederkommen ein, was wir bestimmt tun werden. Leider war es für September schon ausgebucht, sonst wären wir heuer nochmal gekommen.

Es war ein Traum

Istrien von seiner schönen Seite. Reisen mit dem Hund - super. Leben auf einer Eselfarm. Ein Traum. Anfahrt ist etwas kompliziert. Aber der Eigentümer Gordon hat immer ein Lächeln parat. Super nett. Tolle Insider tips ! Gerne wieder. Pool war leider noch etwas zuhalten für uns deutsche.

Ruhiger erholsamer Urlaub

Schönes Haus, mit Pool und überdachter Terrasse. Etwas abgelegen. Für Leute die Ruhe suchen, genau das richtige. Trotzdem ist man schnell am Strand und in der Stadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf den Feldern rund um das Grundstück gibt es Pferde, Esel und Schafe, die auch für unseren Hund sehr interessant waren. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank an den Vermieter für die Eselsmilch.

Sehr schönes Haus auf einem grossen Grundstück mit schönem Pool. Absolut abgelegen und ruhig. Ideal für Leute, die ihre Ruhe haben wollen. Nächste Gaststätte in knapp 1000 Meter, Supermärkte in knapp 4 km. Alles schön.

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer mit Liebe gestalteten Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung der Küche war super! Es war einfach Alles da, von der Kaffeemaschine bis zu den Grillanzündern. Die Esel und Pferde hinterm Haus waren eine Attraktion für die Kinder und haben uns nicht gestört. Der Pool und Aussenbereich sind Top. Nach 10 Minuten Autofahrt ist man am Meer und in der Stadt. Wahlweise auch super mit dem Rad zu erreichen. Der auf den Bildern nicht abgebildete Grill ist Vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hausherren ist auf englisch mit etwas Geduld gut möglich, er ist immer erreichbar und sofort zur Stelle. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen wenn man Urlaub ohne andere Urlauber sucht.

Familie, Natur und Tiere

Tolles, familienfreundliches Haus mitten im Nirgendwo. Sehr ruhig und einsam auf einem Eselhof gelegen. Ausserdem Pferde und Esel, sowie eine Katzenfamilie. Supermarkt und Restaurant in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, auch Rovinj und der Strand. Gut ausgestattete Küche, Grill im Freien, herrlicher Pool. An der Villa führt ein Fahrradweg vorbei. Freundlicher Vermieter. Eine Unterkunft zum Wiederkommen!

Perfekter Urlaub

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Man hat alles was man braucht und mit dem Auto ist man überall in ein paar Minuten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Very Disappointing stay and not to be recommended.

We were very disappointed in lots of ways by this rental. The owner spoke no English which is not what we were told when renting the property. This made it very difficult to address any of the problems. For example, we had agreed online the day before that we could check in a little early as my wife was unwell, but on arrival we were sent away for 2 hours as the villa wasn’t ready. There were a LOT of issues with the property. The villa is only the small ‘pool-house‘ you see in the pictures. The larger main building overlooking is part of the Donkey Sanctuary that surrounds the villa. The building is quite new but the quality is poor. Doors don’t open properly and there are ‘gaps’ around things. The fire is held in place with a bit of 4x2 wedged in. There was only one socket in the kitchen area which is used for extractor fan, kettle, coffee machine, grille, and microwave. The tableware provided was very basic and some broken items were still in the cupboards. The old mini-stereo only played FM radio. We were only given 2 hand towels and 3 medium towels for both the pool and indoor use. There was no bathroom mat so the tiled floor was slippery when wet. We only had two pillow cases so had to use a second pillow without a case. There was a very large mirror behind the wardrobe which was badly smashed when we pulled it out. The second bedroom was extremely small and cluttered with furniture, including a random unwanted cot which almost filled the only open space. The lounge furniture filled the room and was not very comfortable. The Smart TV and AC did work well. Now to the worst part. As soon as you stepped outside you were hit by the smell of horses/donkeys which surround you on all sides. In fact, when we arrived there was fresh dung just the other side of the fence, about 6 feet away from the pool. Then you noticed the flies which that plagued you ALL THE TIME. We never once tried to eat outside as they were very annoying even just sitting around the pool. In the late afternoon they were terrible and would descend on you within a second if you got in the pool. The sun loungers where cheap and cracked in multiple places. One gave way and broke in half as I sat on it. You can only sit on them, so you can’t lay face down unless its on the stone paving. There was no outside shower or grill/BBQ as mentioned in the advert. A cloths drier had many broken rods with lots of rusty screws. This villa was not worth the price we paid.

Ruhe und Erholung und trotzdem nahe der Stadt

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. 1 km Schotterstraße bis zur Hauptstraße und dann noch 5 min bis ins Stadtzentrum von Rovinj. Alles super toll.

Schöne Auszeit!

Wenn auch etwas schwierig zu finden entpuppte sich das Häuschen als perfekt für Abschalten vo zu Hause . Tip: Koordinaten eingeben;) alles sauber, ruhig und trotzdem nahe an Rovinji . Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer belief sich mehr oder weniger auf hallo und ciao aber sehr freundlich hilfsbereit, auch die Wasserqualität wurde jeden Tag geprüft. Ausstattung mehr als ordentlich, WLAN für die kids auch da ;) alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!!
