We had a great time at this peaceful, beautiful property. It was so relaxing to sit by the fire pit and watch the deer. The house is stunning and had everything you would need. We loved that there were even robes provided. The location is great for getting to wineries and breweries. We hope to return for another visit in the future!
The Creekfield home and surrounding property is nothing short of adorable. 110% charming!! Kathleen has thought of everything to make her guests stay so very comfortable. Will look forward to visiting again in the future.
Highly recommend. Kathleen has prepared a haven of a home, situated close to Purcellville and on a grove next to a pond, with beautiful amenities inside. Next time I’m out here, I’ll look first to the availability of this house.
This beautifully restored 1700s farmhouse is a perfect mix of history and modern comfort. The house is thoughtfully designed with both character and convenience in mind. The setting is beautiful - plenty of outdoor spots to take in the views. We saw deer and turkeys every morning! Whether you're looking for privacy or a serene escape, this property is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!
The house was immaculate and beautifully renovated. You can’t really tell in the online photos but it has two outdoor seating areas which are lovely. The owners was very thoughtful about having nice touches throughout the house like hand soaps at every sink and bath products in the showers. The house is so close several wineries and breweries we could have easily spent more time in the area. We would love to go back in the fall!
We so enjoyed our stay at the Creekfield farmhouse! The drive to the home is beautiful - secluded but a short drive to anything we needed. The home itself is inviting and spotless and we enjoyed the cozy features of extra blankets and a wood-burning stove. The beds are super comfortable with soft sheets and excellent mattresses, even the twin bunkbeds! Not pictured in the listing is another upstairs bedroom with a double bed - plenty of room for our family of six. Easy check in and out, quick, friendly, and efficient communication with our host, who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Thanks so much!
This property exceeded all of our expectations. It has been beautifully restored and made a great cozy weekend getaway. The owners have thought of literally everything.
The house was very clean and we loved the look of the house inside and out. The house had everything we needed. The owners even brought us blow up mattresses to help our kids be more comfortable and in the same room. They also left more linens for us as well, very kind! The yard was great so our kids could play outside. They even got to play with the neighbor kids in their yard. Great spot to be around everyth The only issues we had was that the water was not getting hot in the downstairs bath and full bath upstairs. Very quick showers had to happen, . The master bath did get very hot. There were a few places where the floor is uneven and stubbed out feet on the wood, so we just wore shoes inside. Lastly, the drive out front is perfect except the huge bump when pulling out. We bottomed out almost every time we back out. Overall, this is a great place! We would highly recommend to anyone in the area!
