"This is a shared bathroom with at least 6 other rooms which is unsuitable if you are travelling with an elderly parent. There is also No Parking despite this being advertised. The property did not reply to me about address and parking until the day AFTER my stay. Prooery did not reply to Expedia when we needed urgent support. We had to find our own alternative accommodation and still no resolution or contact from the property!!"

"Although the building needed some TLC, we couldn’t fault the staff. They were friendly and welcoming and ready to assist. The breakfast was good, plenty of it. The hotel was near all the facilities, so all in all a good couple of days."

"My friend and I enjoyed a mini break for her 50th. We immediately got upgraded upon arrival. The rooms were fresh, spacious and comfortable. This hotel is situated in the heart of Brighton making eating out a pleasant experience - we were a few minutes walk from the lanes, packed with restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Great buffet breakfast! Spacious room with comfortable bed, large windows, clean bathroom and walk-in shower. Bedside includes reading lights. Room includes safe, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Has option for early check-in (£30) and late check-out (£30), if available. The head shower knob cover fell out but still functional. There was a mistake in the bill charge during check-out but staff was incredibly helpful to sort it out."

"This was our first stay in this hotel and we were very impressed with the establishment, in every respect, but especially and particularly because every member of staff we encountered was polite, listened to what we said, and were totally helpful. It was quite noticeable that the staff were well trained, well motivated, and keen to help us during our stay."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t. The lady argued saying there was and said in regards to the phone not working- most hotels don’t have phones anymore anyway. When she came to our room, she finally agreed we indeed did not have a fan. One was delivered- but it literally just moved the hot air around. The fan stopped working in the middle of the night and our toilet was on constant flush. Location wise, this hotel is great. But this hotel needs serious maintenance and updating and until this is done, I’d personally avoid."
