the room was really big! bigger then i was anticipating actually, and it was nice and clean. the staff on reception were really helpful when i had questions or asked for more tea and sugar. i didn't have breakfast there but i did see other people eating and it did look good. the bed was a little on the firm side for my personal tastes, but that was ok.

Lovely quirky and stylish hotel within the old post office building, based in a residential but also very central location. My only 'criticism': - the bar area could be more inviting/ better staffed (seemed to close earlier, a vacuum cleaner was somehow always about, didn't really lend itself to sit) - there are no phones in the room, which might be the new thing to do; and whilst there was a contact number/ chat option to contact staff online, I don't think messages are monitored that well.

303 is a fantastic room with a nice balcony. First time ever we had a grammophone and some LPs in a hotel room. Funny, even if the sound was terrible. Breakfast absolute ok. Location good. Young enthuastic staff. But the elevator was out of order and the stairs up a real challenge. The ice machine was also out of order. There are absolute things to improve but we loved the hotel a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay at Supernova, the common areas and room are really nicely designed, and we quite liked the labyrinth of stairs to get to and from our room! (The lift was being fixed when we stayed- good to know if you have any accessibility issues) The hotel was really quiet, a great place to relax, sleep and feel properly rested. Great rain shower, and products from the hotels own Superette range. The only little annoying thing was the hairdryer (all the ones we had in Rotterdam/Amsterdam were safety ones you have to keep pressing on to use- would bring my own next time) would definitely stay here again. It’s in an interesting area, lots of street art and in easy walking or transport distance to the main station and the rest of Rotterdams sights. They also have breakfast available and a nice little lounge area with books in the lobby area, along with a shop for some essentials/snacks.

Excellent hotel!

Lovely hotel! The rooms were wonderful and comfortable, staff were really welcoming and helpful. We had a great weekend here and would definitely stay again! It was also a great location, where it was easy to walk and cycle around town, close to bars and restaurants as well as the main station. Thank you so much!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and shower was big. We appreciated the small fridge and the cold jug of water. It was easy to walk to all the sights we wanted to see, and there were several restaurants nearby to eat at.

Super Supernova

Supernova is in a great location: quiet but with lots of options to eat out nearby, and walking distance to the central area. To a person, staff members were lovely: friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s design made the stay feel like a special treat. And Rotterdam itself was a special place, having a calm, relaxed feel but a great city vibe - lots to do and lots to see.

We enjoyed this boutique hotel located just a bit from city center. The room was spacious and the food and drinks from their kitchen was excellent. The breakfast buffet selection was great and you could order your eggs to your liking. We had wine and the charcuterie board -also excellent.

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were all absolutely wonderful- friendly, kind and helpful. One of the front desk staff, Telma, particularly went out of her way to help us and did so with a constant smile while humming a happy tune. Highest possible recommendation for this awesome hotel.

Property was very clean and modern but with a boutique feel. The staff were so helpful. Bar area was nice. We didn't have breakfast but it looked acceptable but nothing special. The room was clean and very comfortable with a very sweet balcony. The only downside was the AC was very bad and it was 28 degrees when there so the room was very hot to sleep at night. The bikes were very useful and we used them for 3 days to get around. I would recommend and stay here again

It was the second time I stayed in this hotel. It is clean, friendly and helpful service, offers parking for max 1,80m high cars nearby and their rooms offer plenty of space also to stay in a double room with a toddler. Unfortunately their bikes to not offer an option to carry kids.

Rotterdam Boutique Hotel

We really liked the Supernova Hotel, which is a quirky boutique hotel in a nice location. Rotterdam is quite manageable, so the location of this hotel was very good. We had booked a family room, which included a loft with an additional queen bed. This was exactly as depicted in the room description. There was a very nice sitting area in the room, and a door out to a garden area that we really liked. It is a quiet property, at least when we were there, and the front desk was very helpful. You can easily walk everywhere. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Be aware before booking

Beautiful design hotel, but function of the room is not good. Our room had steep stairs from bed to bathroom, and not full high for persons over 170 cm in the area around the bed. We were “offered” to pay for an upgrade to a different room, but same challenge, ceiling too low, you will be crawling into your bed. Before booking, pay attention to the pictures of the rooms and assess yourself cause this is not described on hotels.com

Nice hotel but not good experience

Nice and comfortable and room. Everything was clean, however, there was an intense smell of sewer in the bathroom. The smell was even more intense in the reception area when I was doing the check-in. They have a problem in their pipes that must be solved. This made the stay not very pleasant. Furthermore, I didn't like all the rules they have and the demand of a deposit fee. Still waiting for they to refund the deposit. This didn't make me feel welcome there.
