This overlook is a little way off the main road and up a steep mountain with switchbacks. It is very much worth it. From Canada you can see the northern end of the USA northern cascades. Seeing this from Canada is so rare. We were up there alone to see it. Mt. Frosty was the closer one with snow and ice fields.
